Series Thread: LA Clippers vs San Antonio Spurs

Maybe we watched a diffrent 4th quarter

All I saw was every Clippers shot being 12-19 feet jumpers which are typically inefficient shots.

The Spurs scored all their points from within 7 feet or from the 3-point line which is usually the most efficient.

But, the Clippers simply made the shots.

The SPURS will be happy to see them take nothing but jumpers, but sometimes they go in.

I remember this gameplan in the 2013 Finals too. Didn't work out too well. But I can understand the reasoning.

it looks like Manu retires whenever the Spurs lose and Timmy will sign for the minimum.
All that plus the momentum seems to be pushing for LA in the Silver and Black.

2016 front-line: Lamarcus Aldridge, Tim Duncan, Kawahi Leonard
2016 2nd unit front line: Tiago Splitter, Boris Diaw, Marco Bellinelli

Timmy slides over to cnter and concentrates on defense and rebounding which he can still do at A+ elite levels.
So, the Spurs seem to have a nice consolation prize even if they lose in the first round

would have to be the best frontcourt in all of basketball for next year.
Heck their 2nd unit front line will be better than most teams's starters.

Suddenly the championship window is extended another 2 years or so.

I'm impressed the Clips are leading right now (53-52 with 30ish second left in the half) considering Paul is so gimpy. He's practically walking out there. He can barely move. Not sure how long he or the Clips can keep this up
