Feel like the Spurs were the better team tonight and lost

And the Clippers were the better team in game 5 and lost

I still feel good about game 7

The Clips starters have to have nothing left...and with Big Baby hurt, they have even less depth

well it would be an NBA record for most wins on an opponents court in a series.

I know the Spurs are better, but we'll see.

The Spurs are always having to overcome their loony coach.

Parker is hurt.

he has been hurt the whole series. There is not much Pop can do about it.

He is rotating in players to cover up for Parker's apparent complete ineffectiveness.

The bench has outscored the Clippers bench by 124 points.

But freaking Chris Paul and Blake Griffin have had 3 monster games to offset that fact.

I know that is not right, but just to play along. So if a millimeter of the ball is over the imaginary cylinder to the ceiling you can't touch it.

I know that is not true because I see NBA players tap it back in all the time when 40% of the ball is in the imaginary cylinder. All the time litterally. Like 3 time a game throughout a season and there are a lot of games in an NBA season with.

I think the rule is different than that and no one really knows it.

How did Spurs look better tonight?

Outside of Bellinelli going super human. The clips dominated.

Tiago Splitter needs to hit some free throws

He went 0-2 twice in the fourth quarter which really would have helped.

it is embarassing how many free throws the SPURS are missing inexplicably.

it is one thing for Jordan to miss, but Splitter is a 70% shooter.

In the 3 losses, the Spurs shot god awful from the freethrow line.

The Spurs starters were awful today.

Games like this is when you need the young fella Leonard to lead the charge

The way I learned the rule is that if the ball is resting on the rim or is above the imaginary cylinder 50% or 51% in, then you can't touch it. But once it's more out than in it's anyones ball.

Also there is a key exception to the rule and it's actually the main part of the rule.

There can be no goaltend if the shot has no chance of going in.

Does anyone honestly think that Bellinelli shot was going in?

Yep. You can easily make the case that the Clippers been the better team in 5 of the 6 games

Which was actually a bad call. I don't think he was fouled.

The Clippers did not score a single fourth quarter point in the paint I believe.
I think they might have had 1 total second half bucket in the paint area.
They did not hit any 3s either.

The SPURS win most of the time when they make an opponent play that way.

You are not supposed to win when all your shots come from the 15-19 foot 2 point shot.
The Spurs got beat by nothing but 1950s era midrange jumpshots which are typcially not efficient.

When sending D. Jordan to the line the Spurs are being outscored by 23 total points from the time they start the terrible losing strategy the rest of those games.

What's up pop, why you losing on purpose again?

Am I the only one that sees what's been happening this entire series?

23 points in a series like this that is coming down to the final shot each game, THAT'S HUGE!

All he's doing is taking his own team out of rhythm. The Spurs are a team that gets a large amount of there points if not most off the defense triggering it then getting out on the break.

Now think about it. Can the Spurs play defense and fast break off the defense while sending Jordan to the Line.

Also I can see it makes Griffin and Paul step up right after the Spurs start sending D. Jordan to the line. They do it for D. Jordan. But that's besides the point.

The point is that the Spurs will be on a run and playing with great rhythm and pushing the lead out and then pop will get gimmicky and his team then can't push the lead out further.

Homers really think Spurs looked better tonight?

Clips starters have outplayed Spurs starters in 5 games. The bench, Duncan and Clips boneheaded plays are the only reason why this game is going to 7.

They scored in the paint a lot in the 4th.

Griffin had a Dunk from Paul about the 2:40 mark.

Also Paul hit a floater from about 8 feet away with about 1 minute left.

Thank the Bulls. Them winning the series meant Spurs/Clips got bumped to the early start time.

Game 7 is deserved. This has been about as evenly matched as it can get. Every possession is like a chess match. What's crazy is its been so close that the Clips losing Glen Davis might be the difference. Think about that.

And I lol'd at Bill Simmons on Twitter saying that you just know Joey Crawford is gonna ref game 7. Watch out Spurs and Timmy, Joey's coming!
