Last I heard was the tryout with the Lions. The Jets bringing him in for a look?

Maybe this means their is good news with Lattimore and they think he will be ready to return to the team after Week 6 and could play if absolutely needed. I feel their plan for him though is to get him on the team and practicing while likely being inactive on Gameday all season. Long as Gore and Hyde stay healthy Lattimore is here for next year. Even if one of them get hurt I would expect us to sign a player over playing Lattimore. They are being super cautious with his returning from that knee injury.

That's a good point. With us cutting LMJ and only going with 2 running backs, maybe week 6 Lattimore will be ready and they will activiate Lattimore? I cannot imagine us going with only 2 backs for longer than that?

IMO this is more about the ST play than the RB situation for now. Lattimore should be good after the bye. Until then we carry only two RBs but Miller is there for support.
