I love today's game but I'm not a fan of the Twitter era. All the leaking, Kyrie, Paul George, etc
Everyone seems to be taking this to mean LeBron is definitely gone.
The reports that LeBron was shocked and devastated makes me think the opposite. Of course its a very real possibility... but I think if LeBron had his mind made up to leave already, he wouldn't care that much about Kyrie requesting a trade.
If you add Kyrie and another player close to his caliber, now were talking. Sadly, I think that's how good the Warriors are.
I disagree. But we will never know.Hell no. If not for injuries, the Spurs would have gone 6-7 games with the Warriors. Adding Irving? Means that series would be a tossup, possibly leaning in SA's direction..
If softer means less bully ball and hard fouls and smashing into each other, sure. It's also faster paced and more skilled and better passing and more unselfish today. I like today's game better. It's like today has about 10 teams that play like the Showtime Lakers
Also you are as much a dick rider as anyone you just ride different dicks

Well are we comparing eras or teams? On paper the Warriors look every bit as good as Chicago. As far as what they're allowed to do defensively now as compared to then, I don't really know how to determine how either team would be playing by the other's rules.
And what I watch/watched with my eyes. Taking out the subtleties of how the game was played back in the fucking 80's and 90's as compare to today. Which doesn't have a thing to do with the talent level of the team.Paper huh
I think ideally the league meets somewhere in the middle of yesteryear and today in terms of what constitutes a foul, and certainly a tech.

If I want to watch MMA, I'll watch MMA. I watch basketball to watch basketball. Not really IMO
You don't see brawls today. You don't really see people getting hammered in the paint. One swing at the head during actually play and you're gone - that's it.
Not Van Gundy hanging on Alonzo's ankle while he's trying to punch LJ
Yea nobody understands anything but you chief. On paper the Chicago Bulls were the best defensive team of all time. 3 of them were in your face 24/7 and Harper was pretty good. I don't think people understand what that does to a jump shooter
Obviously
Haha! That's because this is basketball not WWE. I do think the league calls too many soft techs and flagrants but your comment made me laugh. Not really IMO
