Jeremy Clements got a 3 race suspension a few years ago for saying it to a reporter, but Clements drives a family owned car with no sponsors and never had any Cup prospects. But on the other hand, Larson is a minority himself, so it’ll be interesting to see how NASCAR handles it.

But sponsorship might become an issue, and I’m convinced he was gonna be taking over the 48 for Hendrick next season, but that’s not gonna happen now

There were other NASCAR drivers participating along with drivers from other series, and it was a sim race at a historic track in Italy that hasn’t hosted a real race in decades. It was organized by a low level NASCAR driver, but it wasn’t televised or sanctioned by NASCAR

It has been getting pretty decent ratings, but it isn’t a video game, it’s a very realistic simulation(realistic as far as car setups, how you control the car and aerodynamics and the like). A lot of drivers use it for training at certain tracks, and some spend 40,000 dollars on their setup
