If you understand that he's fresher now you have to understand that it wasn't a wasted year and the cost to him wasn't 14.5. Those are inseparable rof you are being logical and honest.

If you want to use false numbers that the Steelers put in print and Bell denied, well that is your gullibility on display and the actual math becomes irrelevant.
false #'s? Like it is 25 guaranteed, not 35. False #'s like that?

No, fake numbers like a PR intern wrote it and a desk jockey approved it. Not an actual contract presented by a team official involved with player contracts.

Glad I could clear that up for you.

So 4.21 million more than the Steelers guaranteed him.
not sure where you got that #, but for arguments sake. Lets say your right.
gave up 14.544 mil.
gave a year of his prime football life.
gave up 5.5 mil over the 1st three years of compared contracts.

gave up all of that for 4.21 guaranteed money? Unless he planned on getting injured in his 1st training camp, he gambled & lost.

I really think in his mind he thought he was gonna get a long term contract for 17 mil a year.

But bottom line. Jets contract is not as good as what the Steelers offered him.

2nd year mark Jets 26 Steelers 33 mil
3rd year mark Jets 39.5 Steelers 45 mil

Bell gambled & lost.

He shifted a year of his prime.

You keep mischaracterizing that.

in a piece from bell saying he doesnt regret sitting out it states he got 25 mil guaranteed & he turned down 33 mil. guaranteed from the Steelers. (not from an intern)

So now that we can put that to bed.
Steelers offered him a better contract than the one he has now.
Which is originally what I said.

Him saying he feels great now is actually the only thing he can say.
He failed in every other way contractually trying to force what he wanted.

here is our initial quotes
What do you mean. The steelers offer was better than the one he signed with the Jets. You cant fix Stupid!

Liar

I'm not sure you're smart enough to have this full conversation (as you demonstrated with your response), but you might be smart enough to understand counting at a kindergarten level? Which is more 33 or 35?

And that only matters if you foolishly believe the Steelers PR spin that they told a writer to put in an article. But still we can use it as a test for your basic capability here...
You hanging on to his health is just a side step of you either knowing or realizing you are wrong in our debate.

A) I didn't lie
B) 33 is more than 25 (Guaranteed)
C)14 is more than 13.1 (full contract)
D)15 more than 13.17 (3 year)
E)16.5 is more than 13 (2 year)

In all aspects the Steelers contract was better than the Jets.

Not to bad for a kindergartener.

No, Bell didn't say that in the article. He says SF offered him 38 guaranteed. That's even more than the Steelers fake offer.

The 33 number comes from the Steelers. I already told you that.

A) you lied
B) your info is s one sided Steeler pr stunt, not a real offer
C) you're a colbert faggott

3 strikes. Bye

Hope they don't screw James Connor like they screwed LeVeon Bell.

Steelers are hoping Connor stays in the top 10-15 production range instead of being top dawg at his position like Bell and Brown.

They didn't screw Bell. He did that to himself.

Hats off to the Steelers for this move!

Peterson was the exception to the rule.
Nope.
Marshawn was better his first year back than he was the year prior to his year off.

But you would have already known that if...

Maybe Jim Brown can make a comeback. Most sensible people know RBs have a short shelf life.
