The Devils have to forfeit their 1st next year. Because of the Kovalchuk contract. Which will likely be a very high pick. Because of Kovalchuk. Double whammy.

This is just insane...

based on this it is easy to deduce that he wasn't happy in NJ but why screw the team over like this...unless he tried to talk to him and they were receptive.
