Bautista wasn’t really was boomers think though. I took him as Andrew Tate.
Honestly never heard of this guy but it seems to check out. Usually when I think of twitch streamers I think of 20 something guys who are out of shape. The video game space has also gotten fairly progressive. The comment section not so much

Honestly I wouldn't mind a Rian Johnson, Daniel Craig full-blown comedy. Johnson is really good at setting up jokes

thats the problem with whodunnit movies, viewers think because they are able to solve it early takes anything away from the movie...

really these are so much of a fun ride, i dont even care who did it, sure i am not shocked by the reveal but my enjoyment doesnt change...

I mean, what is worse, an obvious whodunnit... or a whodunnit that purposely holds on to the information just so they can hide the murderer till the end...

and i feel like the predictability on who the murderer was was kind of the point in this film... i mean Blanc used STUPIDIITY as a reason he knew it was the murderer...
It was amusing that I recognized certain words were being used incorrectly, but I simply chalked that up to some kind of absent-minded genius. Using it as a plot device was brilliant.

now... my only complaint about the movie is if he was so stupid, then what spray did they use so everyone could take off their masks??

would have been funny to bring back that point and say it was bleach or something, stupid like that...

I didn't know who Andrew Tate was until this morning, but I took Bautista to be just a charicature of someone like that... a "toxic male", right wing "influencer".

My thoughts were bleach when I saw it...would fit with the cartoon characterizations of the whole film

I guess fair, I know Tate but don’t know anyone who that character could’ve been I guess. But I did really like this movie because it wasn’t a carbon copy of the first film unlike Orient Express and Death on the Nile.

I did think Daniel Craig and Janelle Monae were good in this. Bautista seemed miscast?

As funny and absurd as some of the things in the movie are, I feel a real look at FTX would be just as absurd.

Craig steals the show for sure

This movie was way too slow and the funniest part was the wildly inappropriate tweet

This is a great point

It was ok. Fun watch but thought they lost a lot of the charm of the first one in favor of shoe horning in a bunch of gags that will age terribly. Hoping if there's a third they dial it back a bit and trim the fat.

The I inappropriate jokes were the only redeeming part of the movie (outside of Craig) imo

The whole strory is satire of all dopes...why wouldn't they mock covid too. Did you see birdie mask?
the Birdie mask (on clearly the dumbest character) was making fun of antimaskers.

Watched it again with my kids the other night. My son loved it.. daughter didn't... at all. Her sense of humor leaves a lot to be desired.. she doesn't like The Office or Parks & Rec either. Idk how we get along so well.

I can understand not liking The Office or Parks & Rec, but not both. No offense, I feel like you should get her examined.

She's 35 so it's sort of out of my hands. I think that she doesn't appreciate satire. It's not for everyone.

thats even worse... she is 35... so she was the age that the two shows targeted when they were on...

i would get it more if she was too young when those shows were on air...
