This year?

Let's make it 10 years. Or 20. Or 30. Or 40.

Even this year UF plays 3 SEC teams ranked in the top 7 currently as well as a couple others that have a chance to end up ranked.

2 decent opponents every year?
2020 FSU and ???
2021 FSU and USF? (Are you seriously calling USF a decent opponent?)
2022 FSU and USF
2023 FSU and ???
2024 FSU and Miami
2025 FSU and Miami
2026 FSU and open
2027 FSU and open
2028 FSU and Colorado
2029 FSU and Colorado

Ummm fsu and miami are much tougher and much more big name over time than the OOC opponents Ohio State plays.

Let’s take a look at what OSU has on tap the next 8 years
2020 Oregon
2021 Oregon
2022 Notre Dame
2023 Notre Dame
2024 Washington
2025 Washington and Texas
2026 Texas and Boston College
2027 Boston College

I’m going to give the edge to OSU

Let's make it this year.

I think it should be several years to give us a more accurate picture. That said, who in the big 10 does Ohio State play who is likely to end up ranked? Certainly Wisconsin. They look really good. After that.....Michigan? Penn State?

For UF LSU, Auburn and Georgia look like they're in the same class as Wisconsin. After that maybe Kentucky. Maybe Mizzou. UF is going to end up with a tougher conference slate that Ohio State yet again this year - as in almost all years.

Let's take a look at what Ohio State has played OOC this century vs what UF has played OOC this century. That's 19 years. That should give us a good picture.

Ah so where the coach comes from makes the game somehow not count. Got it.

I was going by the person I was quoting who said that Florida now schedules 2 decent OOC games a year, I was showing that wasn’t true. But if you want to keep sucking your “Rivals” dick, by all means.

So let's see....upcoming games with fsu every year plus usf 3 times in the next 5 years plus Utah in 2022-23, miami in 24-25, Colorado in 28-29, Texas in 30-31. Looks like the only years that need to be filled in with another home and home contract are 26 and 27. So yes it obviously is true that UF is now scheduling 2 good OOC games a year if not more.

Funny how you now don't want to count past games against a good OOC opponent for UF. Gosh, I wonder why.

If you want to count USF as some big OOC game okay, but does that mean I get to pump up the directional Michigan schools as high powered opponents as well?

And the conversation was about Out of Conference opponents. I do wonder why I don’t bring in conference opponents to talk about out of conference games.

You wanna discount usf, fine by me.

I demonstrated UF plays more ranked opponents than Ohio State BOTH OOC AND in conference. Which makes an Ohio State fan whining about UF's schedule rather ironic.

That’s fine. They played a joke of an out of conference this year and have no room to criticize anyone’s OOC this year.

Never said that. But the Buckeye did bring more national championships then the every other FL coach combined. Just a simple thank you will suffice. You are welcome.

Thanks my UCFriend. Its moments like these, that I know I can count on the good people like you.

Trying to stay UCFocused. Positive thoughts. Thinking about Nods wedding. See you in 2 weeks.

Hopefully I have UCFootball's problems UCFixed by then.

Just know, any conversations had about the hoop, means we are in your heads, not the other way around.

You do realize that OSU plays one more conference game so they have less of a chance to play P5 teams. Let me know when Florida plays 11 P5 in a season like you are suggesting OSU should.
Utah is in 2022 and 2023. 2022 will be a big slate OOC. Biggest I've seen in a long time.

And if we can claim that Cincinnati is decent (the hardest game OSU has this year OOC), then sure as shit USF is decent as well. They went 11-2 and 10-2 prior to last season. Regardless, the Gators also have FSU those 2 seasons.

As I said, Florida is getting better OOCs, I didn't say they had the best. Historically they have been garbage schedules beyond FSU. They also have Texas coming up past the years you showed there. And regardless of the number of in-conference games, that doesn't magically make having fewer OOC games a more difficult OOC. It's the complete opposite.

Ohio State plays an extra conference game. UF should have 1 more good OOC opponent than them annually.
I agree. That's what the AD has been trying to arrange. That's the whole point.

A cupcake is a cupcake. It doesn’t matter if it’s s division I bottom feeder or a I-aa team. UF plays two P5 opponents OOC. Ohio State doesn’t.

You just keep defending the yearly FCS cupcakes your team plays. It's funny. No wonder you think playing an FCS team is equal to playing a bad P5 team. Your team plays UT Martin & Towson this year.

2018- Charleston Southern & Idaho
2017- N. Colorado (fucking hilarious)

That's 5 FCS cupcakes in 3 years.

He's not defending them or comparing them to a P5 team. He's ignoring them. Just like everyone else does.

Those types of games shouldn't exist.
