NoHow do you define alone
Like, I was alone in sayin thibs would be fired?
Not that eitherOr. How logic and tlance and the rest are leaving this alone
Or. How logic and tlance and the rest are leaving this alone
i'll take the underYou'll do it after the first game
Leaving what alone?
Maybe the Knicks hire Mike Malone who is an excellent coach and a proven winner.
I don’t expect him to fare better than Thibs did.
Hire anyone else and most likely it is a downgrade.
Good luck.
You guys are the most insightful/analytical fans, so how is it you don’t bring up that Thibs has now coached 2 teams to 50 game winning seasons and has been fired by both..
He can’t get it done , there’s a very short window of opportunity, esp an org that hasn’t won in 50 years …
get it done
The more I think about it, has Thibs developed one rookie for the Knicks in the past five years? Plus, you just can't have your starting five play the amount of minutes per game and not expect a let down/breakdown by playoff time. I like him as a coach, but we need more depth and a coach willing to use that depth.
Plus your team has to have depth and not be injured to not play your starters a lot of minutes if you want to win.Miles McBride
Also, that is not really a fair criticism because they have traded almost all of their draft picks since 2020.
How can you say you need more depth and then turn around and say the coach plays his starters too much? How else do you try to win if you don’t have depth? The more I think about it, has Thibs developed one rookie for the Knicks in the past five years? 99% of all coaches get fired eventually.
Doesn’t mean it is the right move.
Let’s see who they hire to replace him.
I guess the future may tell how much of a wizard of the game he was in New York.I feel for Thibs very much
The guy has given his life to the game
Never married, no kids.
But you would think in knowing this that he’d be a wizard of the game.
He will be missed. Thanks Mr thibs!!!!
How many coaches have the Knicks alone fired since their last championship?Really wow
Now, what % of that 99 did the org make the right move and go on to win a chip
You’re graspin bro , anything to get a reaction from your nuthuggin cult
I guess the future may tell how much of a wizard of the game he was in New York.
It will take a great coach to get this team to push further than he made it.
