Can anyone think outside the ANALytical box for just one moment?

You just can’t except the fact that maybe there just isn’t enough qualified personnel in the NBA?

Melo was 153 years old when he came to NY…

Last real top pick, star player we had that got support was Ewing …

Again , Dolan owns 2 teams that play in same city at same arena , the formula for success for both are same.

There are not enough good basketball minded people in the NBA or as I have stated before too much player control.

No it isn’t.

The NBA is a superstar driven league.

If you don’t have a superstar and some quality pieces around him, you can’t win.

Hockey is not at all the same.

Yer out of your mind

That would be you.

1 NBA champ in the last 40 years without a bonfide superstar.

Absolutely insane to say the blueprint for NHL and NBA are the same.

Like I said you’re out of your mind, name a hockey team who won in last 100 years that didn’t have a bonafide star player..

you’re only making these statements cause they ain’t the same insane contracts in the NHL as there is in the NBA .

All Major sports teams have GM’s, scouting, players and coaches , what more is there needed for your blueprint?

I said superstar.

Big difference between a superstar and a star.

And what is needed is high quality personnel who actually understand how to build a quality roster within the confines of the cap system.

The Knicks have proven to be unable to do that.

You mean to tell me that in 20 years of bringing in different mgmt , different players , they couldn’t get lucky even once with who they selected?

I played in the Minnesota Twins org. Pohlad was the cheapest mother forkin owner in all sports, had us living in the Melbourne regional airport, served us f n hot soup & crackers in the fall league .. few years after I was released they won it all , the cheapest sun of a beech owners , won it all .

You tellin me that Dolan hasn’t opened his wallet to try and bring in good people to try and win?

I am telling you what has happened.

He has tried and failed because he sucks as an NBA owner.

It is plain fact.

Why you continue to support him and blame coaching staff continues to amaze.

Can’t win in the NBA without players. And Dolan has continually invested in the wrong ones.

The result is a team perpetually mired in mediocrity. No realistic chance to contend, but too good to bottom out and draft a legit franchise player at the top of the lottery.

Terribly run organization.

Just like my Wizards.

I’m not defending Dolan at all. I can’t stand him. but you cannot say he’s a bad owner when he owns 2 teams.. one that is successful and one that is not.

Ain’t his fault that there aren’t enough good basketball minds in the game.

Ain’t his fault that these super star pussees in the NBA won’t play in a city they will be held accountable

Yes. I can and a I will.

He is a bad NBA owner.

Whatever success the Rangers have had is completely irrelevant to the Knicks.

Same deal as Ted Leonsis in Washington.

But Dolan is even worse.

@logic, the fall league in my day comprised of mostly minor leaguers yes, however players from the show who needed to do a little rehabbing, or a pitcher who did not throw enough innings played in fall league. Also , the Hanshin Tigers played with us in the fall league as well.

Right.

I don’t have an open mind.

How many people here are telling you that you are wrong?

Yet, you assume everyone else is wrong and y out are right.

Okay man!
lol, yea the same ones who told me I was wrong about fizdale being fired.

Now you’re tryin to convince me that the blueprint for success for a sports team isn’t the same cause the NBA is a superstar driven sport? Lol, next time I see Gretzky I’ll ask him what he thinks about your beliefs.

Did I say superstars can’t win in other sports?

NBA is different.

1 superstar player can impact a game more than any other sport.

And literally nobody said Fizdale wouldn’t be fired. Nobody.

What we all said was that he wasn’t the problem. He was the scapegoat.

So, no one they felt they needed to treat well
