Have you seen him play every game for a whole season?
I've seen him play enough games over the course of his career to know what he's been about and he's been about getting his. That finally seems to have changed now that he's old.

Thank God you’re not a scout!I've seen him play enough games over the course of his career to know what he's been about and he's been about getting his. That finally seems to have changed now that he's old.
Melo, one of the most prolific scorers in games history was a bad fit for damphony?
melo, got a bad rap in New York ! He played hard every game, both ends . He gave his body up more than I have seen from any star player from my vantage pt.
He ruined his rep in NY , and NY is the place to do it. Why do you think big names no longer come here?
Watch and see what happens to KD or Kyrie, if they fail to bring a ring to NY!
I saw them all play and bird was a nasty bastit on the court. Smart as shite! One thing he had that melo didn’t was support!"he played hard every game, both ends"
Really? Then why was it when I got to CO. back in 2010 the majority of Nuggets fans didn't like his effort on the defensive end?
"he gave up his body more than I have seen from any star player from my vantage point"
You never saw Larry Bird play then.
Wow , I’m not a stat guy, but Melo is #17 on all time scoring list. That’s overrated?

that’s your comparison?
Thank God you’re not a scout!
You guys are so biased, you could never see it any other way.Yep.
Because his impact on winning was not nearly as significant as you would expect a player with his stats to have been.
Much like Kyrie today.
Pretty clear really.
I’m not going to post about a team or player I did not have the privilege of watching all the time. How fare is that? You said you never saw a player give his body up like Melo. What a bunch of nonsense. He was never know for play like that. You know what he did do though? Don't remember when year this happened. There was a fight during a game. Melo bitch-slapped an opponent and then ran for his life. He had no toughness.
if a player doesn’t conform to a coaches plan , the player is not good enough to play in the NBA?
I did not think it was possible for you to confuse me again, but you confused me, again..
melo did not conform to dam phony’s game plan says you...
Please tell me what Knick player did not conform to fizzdales game plan?

Solid coach? See that’s what I’m confused about. In a league where good coaching is quite suspect he’s an assistant. And fizzdale, you also claim to be a good coach, where is he?I have no idea what you are talking about.
Mike D’Antoni has had a few bad teams, but overall he is a winning coach with a career .560 winning percentage.
In New York, he went 121 - 167 which is a .420 winning percentage. Some of that was due to a mediocre roster his first 2 years, some was due to conflict with Melo that eventually got him fired.
D’Antoni has proven to be a solid coach, but one who needs a certain type of roster to succeed. The Knicks didn’t have it.
‘ Whatever meds I’m on, you need to start taking them...Who said that?
Oh yeah, no one.
Whatever meds you're on...you need to start taking them.
No thank you, the players today put themselves before the game...When Thibs is fired you should be the Brickabockers next coach. You could fix them right?
