i think most of us listen rather regularly, so why not have a thread to discuss their topics?

I can't stand Larry Krueger.

Not necessarily WHAT he says, but HOW he says it. He has a tone of complete exasperation and he exaggerates to a level where his point gets completely lost.

Today, for example, he is complaining that the Giants are not getting an OF to help. This "anemic" offence. Never mind the fact that the Giants just scored 28 runs in a 4-game series against the Nats. Never mind the fact that the Giants have (arguably) the most potent and efficient offense in the NL. They just had a series against one of the best pitching teams in the last 40 years and only scored 6 runs in 3 games!!!

He is simply a troll.

The thought actually crossed my mind that you are actually Larry Krueger.

"Dont bother me with overall stats, THEY WENT 0-4 TODAY!! THE ARE THE WORST!"

I never listen at that time of day, but they need someone to say something because Radnich doesn't offer much. I used to listen to Radnich when he was alone and he almost spent as much time talking Kim Kardashian and Pamela Anderson then he did about sports

They are not sports?

I know I'm given to a lot of gametime pantshattery (understatment of the year), but Krueger makes me look like a total BoB homer. His "ownership is cheap; they owe us a larger payroll" rant is just fucking silly. All he does is complain. The only worse radio experience for me is Damon Douche on The Game; that guy is lowest common denominator shock jock assclown.

Not that I have an opinion or anything....

The Giant 68 ??
Haven't listened to that station in years.
Is Ralph (the razor) Barbieri still there?
Nope. He got the axe a couple years back.

He announced he had Parkinsons about 6 months prior, so it may have been a situation where he wanted to move on anyway. His contract was almost up when they booted him.

Wow....no way!
Yikes...hope he's doing well , considering.

I used to listen to his show sometimes (a very knowledgeable, avid giants fan)....also listened to Tom Tolbert's show once in awhile..... & Pete (pigskin pete) Franklin (RIP).

Most of the people on there annoy me now. I do like Marty Lurie though, even if he gets a little BoB-ish. I can at least stand his voice.

Radnich makes my ears bleed.

I don't mind Fitz and Brooks. They work well together and are always clowning around. I like Tom Tolbert and Ray Ratto too. They work well together.

Most awkward pairings were Rick Barry/Rob Brooks and Tom Tolbert/Eric Byrnes. Those shows were painful to listen to

Tom and Razor were a pairing. When they axed Razor, they actually were somewhat cool and let Tom rant about the company for about 1/2 hour or so.

I am not a huge fan of Fitz by himself (he is an annoying DH-guy. Dude, know your audience!), but he and Brooks are fun.

I used to not stand Ratto, but now I understand his sense of humor more and can actually get the point he is trying to make. Pairing him with Mr. T is a great cooling effect, and they work very well together.

haha..that must have been when Tolbert was also doing sidework during NBA games for ESPN, and they didn't want to lose any cred.

Yea, I agree it is the Fitz and Brooks together that makes the show. Ratto is an eloquent trash talker. I've read his columns in the past and he rarely provides anything of substance.

There is a pretty good interview with Tim Krappykami on podcast with Ralph. He seems at peace with everything. His first and only interview since the firing.
