Really? I had seen a bunch of stats all year that it was a dead heat regular season. Didn't realize it jumped that much in the playoffs.

Probably because no one in Cleveland has a job, so they can sit and watch TV.

This NBA Finals was the most watched in the history of the NBA I think, probably because there were two different teams for a change and the storylines were much more interesting

I think the big story of this thread is that 43 married Dawn Wells. Could you ask her if the Professor was really a communists?

Simply the Lebron factor. And probably the Tampa factor too.

Nobody really watches anything in the regular season. Hockey ratings aren't much worse than baseball ratings in most markets, and hockey ratings aren't much better than MLS ratings in most markets. It's the playoffs where advertisers pay big bucks and the ratings matter to the broadcaster; in that regard NBA is second only to the NFL among pro sports leagues and given that basketball is the one sport that is still cheap and easy to play amongst youngsters that gap is only likely to widen even if the NHL still grows their game in the US at the rate they are currently.

Which one is it? I havent watched it in 30 + years but watched them tons when I was a kid. I can sadly probably still remember.

Most academics are

I meant the actor, not the character. However I think you've come up with an idea for a wonder new series.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police investigation involves Mike Richards -- source

I think esls was onto something earlier in the thread when he mentioned the Untouchables border crossing scene.

The source said that Canadian Border Services is also involved in the investigation, but a spokesperson declined comment, citing Canadian privacy laws.
:wtf2: There are no such laws, as far as I am aware, that would preclude the RCMP or any other law enforcement agency from disclosing any crime that may or may not have occurred.

It's just a wild ass guess on my part, but you wonder if Richards was carrying firearms, asked at the border if he had firearms in his possession, said no, his vehicle was searched and they found weapons.

Plausible as far as the border goes, but seems to fall far short of a "termination of contract" offense. Anything that could have happened at a border but did not involve immediate arrest, seems to likewise fall far short.

Its a puzzle.

I did ask, she said he was too busy trying to make an iPod like device out of Palm Fronds to have any political opinions.

There would have been no Steve so called Jobs if he was successful.

Oh my god, I finally just figured it out.

Mike Richards actually dug the tunnel/cave found near the Rexall Centre.

I thought Johan Franzen was the mule though, no?

When the names and the plan come out there are going to be lots of surprises. But Richards was running things.
