Imagine being a Raiders fan right now. What a total train wreck of a franchise, just a few years removed from a moment where things looked to be turning around.

Gruden won the trophy with Dungy's players and then drove the Bucs' franchise into the ground.

How long do we see him lasting here?

I don't how the NFL even allows Davis to own the team if he doesn't have enough money to pay Mack?

You know what?? I think the Raiders won this one.
You’re lucky to select a player that turns into Khalil Mack with a first round pick. Picks provide potential. Potential doesn’t win games. If the bears only gave up 2 first rounders plus some lesser picks, I like the trade. If they gave up any significant players, id be worried.

It’s not a good excuse to sell a lot of first round picks, but paces does a great job in the later rounds. With Mack, they won’t be picking too early in drafts anyway.

The big contract is the hard part. But give me a proven All-Pro Defensive Player of the year any day over 2 draft picks(even #1’s). Never know what you’re gonna get.

Moose, what are your thoughts on the Bears season outlook now? Just curious
The defense has the edge guy they're looking for. The defense is gonna be dramatically better than what it was last year.

Makings of an offense are there. If Trubisky is ready, this can be a winning/playoff contending squad. They aren't ready to challenge the Vikings most likely, but the playoffs are a worth conversation right now. 8-8 is no longer hopeful realism. That bar has been shifted to playoff contention.

Their future :laugh3:

Not really. Show me two first round picks for the majority teams in football over the past 10 years that you'd rather have than Khalil Mack. They're literally losing only one player with that second first round pick.
