I highly doubt Dillman flips, of all the players flipping these days QBs are small in number.
Dillman does need some work fundamentals but as a QB IMO he's better then Bubba Starling.
If he lights it up in Texas, I am going out on a limb and saying he flips. The Texas schools will be all over him. I also bet any financial considerations he is getting by going to Texas will have a determination also.
Unless the Academic All Americans at Nebraska mean something to him and his father.
This is rather surprising. It sounds like this kid wants to play football and is doing anything to do it.
He is Swedish? He started as a Foreign Exchange Student in California in 9th grade decided he loved football and decided to become a US Citizen to do it? Amazing.
He then moved from California to Texas?
Who did he live with in California? Did they not want him anymore so he was traded to a high school family in Texas? Which would not surprise me.
I just want to know the whole story on this kid.
After securing U.S. citizenship, QB Dillman set to be top recruit - More Sports - SI.com
Quote CBS Football
"Dillman is 6-foot-4, 210 pounds, runs the 40-yard dash in the 4.5-second range, is athletic enough to play all over the field (he did at La Mirada High in California for a while) and has a strong and accurate arm. He's Tim Tebow-esque in terms of athletic skill set."
Sounds eerily similar to a guy who used to wear #3
I don't buy into any of the hype for anybody anymore. Seems like every year there's hype for the next big thing, especially at quarterback and I'd say about one in 5 actually has a worthy career. I'll believe it when I see it. Here's to wishing.
Brasky, I guess you missed this post from me in this thread.
I know he is Swedish.
I know he was a Foreign Exchange Student in California.
I know he became a US Citizen in 10th grade, which is quite amazing, so he could play American Football.
I know he was injured last year. Achilles I believe.
What I really want to know is why is he not still living with the family in California? Why did he move to Texas? How is he supporting himself? How does a kid that just became a US Citizen at the age of 15/16 do what he is doing gallavanting all around the country?
So far, this is what we know. He is big and fast and can supposedly throw the football a mile, but he has not really played one full year of American Football in High School.
Do you have those answers?
from 247"I'm a big fan of lifting," Dillman said. "That's a big part of my game. I've been lifting for a long time. One time I got the 1997 Nebraska weightlifting book as a gift. I followed that religiously and its close to my heart."
