Questiones whether you want to spend money on Tee or sign a guy like Slayton, who has speed and spend that money elsewhere? Said you could also draft one. (Paraphrasing)

Need a running back. He mentioned Henderson from Ohio St. Sounds like he's going early, maybe 1st round. Keim eluded to that. He's an Ohio St. Alum. He would know.

Speculated about signing Ronnie Stanley and moving Coleman to RT.

Ertz has said privately and publicly that he wants to come back. Said they want him back. Same with Wagner.

Can't get off of Payne until next year, but it sounded like Allen and Wylie could be gone. Didn't come out and say it, but it sounds like he thinks Allen my be gone.

Said Wylie is cheap. Skins were looking for big plays from Allen and maybe extend him. Mentioned the Cowboys have some defensive lineman. I assumed he was talking about Osa.

They love Magee but don't think he's ready for Wagner's full-time role.

Mentioned how Josh Sweat can set the edge and rush the passer. They are not sure how much of that was him, or who he's surrounded by.

Sounds like Fowler my take a bigger payday some place else.

Said you can't count on Lattimore to stay healthy and wants to see that position bolstered. Said Lattimore wasn't good enough.

May have missed a few things.

You only need to look at Sportrac to see Washington has to draft, sighn as FA or resign players to field a team next year.

Cutting Allen saves about $16 million with a $6 million dead cap hit
Wylie is relatively cheap at $10 million but would only cost $2 million to cut - they only have Coleman for next year

Positions with players signen:
G - 3
T- 1
C - 1
WR - 2 legit (I am calling McCaffrey legit although he did little)
2 RBs
DE - 2 legit
DT - 4 3 legit
LB - 1 legit
You get the idea:

Guys that need to be resigned or replaced
Wagner
Chinn
Ertz

No matter how they get them they need players at every level.
They can cut Wylie but he would have to be replaced, pluse backups would be needed
RBs are Robinson and Ekeler ..... I like Ekeler but you need someone you can count on
WE - McLaurin and .... they need 5 more
TE - Wentz to be resigned and Sinnot pluse 2 more
QB - need a backup

You can cut Allen but you need 2 DTs
DE - Armstrong and at least 2 more
LBer - Wagner, Luvy and Magee and .....
CB =- Lattimore, Sanrstil and Martin
S - Chinn and 3 more, some backups in house now

P - ???

This is why I said 12-5 next year is not guaranteed and how a team one year is not the same team next year. I feel like AP will fill our a good roster again but it could be different and a lot of work has to be done.

If they move on from Allen, I hope it's a trade. Even if it's something like Allen and a 5 for a 3.

If Allen is moved and they sign Osa, I could see them roll with Payne, Osa, Newton, and Day. I know they keep things close to the vest, but I've heard zero buzz on Higgins. I've seen him connected to New England and Green Bay. We'll see.

I can see that on the DL. I have seen the rumors, just never know if AP has something else up his sleeve.

Higgins is young and good, I don't have any feel for them making that deal from Higgins standpoint or Washington's.

Pats can definitely outbid us.

No question, but Washington can out-Jayden them!
Given his current/previous QB is/was Burrow they would have to push the contrast in having Drake Maye a second-year guy with an inconsistent 4-13 season just concluding or the current ROTY winner who like his previous guy has a conference championship on his resume'.

I wonder if Tee wants to be a 1 in his next offense. I'm not sure if that matters to him.

This year we have to make some serious improvements. I could see Jayden having some poor games because the league knows some of his tendencies, BUT i could also see the defense winning us games if we make the right additions

Keim's latest pod

Thinks Skins will definitely call the Browns about Myles. Thinks it will be tough for them to get something done. Skins are picking 29th and if they give us Garrett we are probably picking in the 30s next year.

Said the Browns know that and may look to move Garrett to a contender that just had a bad year. Mentioned the 49ers who are picking 11th? Said that might make more sense for them.

Did say he thinks Peters may try to aquire more picks. I assume they were talking about a trade down.

Said he expects the team to really try and take advantage of Jayden's window. Said you can win while paying big money to a QB, but it's really hard. Expects them to be aggressive.

Talked again about Allen's status and maybe they use him in a trade up, move him to edge, try to negotiate something that will lower his cap. His status is up in the air.

49ers don't have the cap room

They have some important free agents of their own they have to re-sign on top of extending Purdy
Still going to be hard to outbid the league with two glorified 2nd round picks. I'd love to bring him in here though.

Who are they going to trade him to they already said it has to be a contender so that rules alot of teams out

There is going to be a line out the door of good teams with space, that are drafting ahead of us.

I am kind of reluctant to give up the picks and then pay him on top of it . Kind of like my stance on Higgins . If you gut the chance to build through the draft then you cost your team a chance to be a perennial contender. The only way around it is to continue with lesser value free agents and stick the team with UDRFA’s
