Some guy on the Junkies said the Browns covet 2026 draft picks because they want to use those to move up and take a QB in what is supposed to be a much stronger QB class.I'd give them Allen and 2 firsts
There's one team not listed that I see as a true competitor for Garrett, and that team is Minnesota. Although they have approximately $48 million in cap space, they are in the unique position to offer the Browns something they truly need—a quarterback! They will have to make a decision on Sam Darnold soon and if they decide to stick with him they will be signaling a move away from just drafted, but injured JJ McCarthy. The cost for Darnold is a $40 million annual market value projection so the cheaper and most likely move will be towards keeping McCarthy and moving Darnold. I'm not sure how Cleveland looks at this QB draft class, but to me the best of the lot is Cam Ward who will be over-drafted as an early first-rounder. I see him as a mid-first-round pick and the rest following somewhere between late firsts and below.
I saw a report where the Vikings were committed to JJ, especially how Darnold ended the season. I also saw a report where the Browns might go the vet qb route this year. I wish I could source those for you. There's one team not listed that I see as a true competitor for Garrett, and that team is Minnesota. If the Browns are serious about quelling their QB issues, they should pass on drafting one and look to the Vikings to offer them an out in a trade package that includes Garrett.
Yeah Darnold would be a no-go for me. He is Case Keenum 2.0, a quarterback who once was our starting QB and hardly anyone even remembers that.I saw a report where the Vikings were committed to JJ, especially how Darnold ended the season. I still think someone could get a steal if they called the Pats for Milton III. I'm not standing on the table for him, but he looks a lot better than most of the QBs in this class.
Always thinking "outside" the box. Love it!There's one team not listed that I see as a true competitor for Garrett, and that team is Minnesota. Btw; Either way ( draftee, Darnold or McCarthy) they aren't trading Garrett. The only way that happens is if they fail to get the guy who they believe is their answer or if Garrett forces the issue.Always thinking "outside" the box. Love it!
