He is going to the Lakers.

Who outside the Lakers, Celtics, Philly have the trade assets to get him?

Of those 3 Teams, which one of them could get him to commit to an extension?

The Lakers.

Celtics can't get Kyrie to commit.

So, unless he's part of the trade, that's too much of a risk....imo

He and LeBron are going to the Lakers.

Un.

Fricking.

Believable.

I love you so much......

It is when you're on a huge public platform that makes revenue off their players market-ability. Introvert for an average person isn't a negative. It is if you're required to do tons of media on a daily basis.

The dude has a sweet nickname is about to get a huge shoe deal and I couldn’t recognize his voice.

Why you hitting me with rainbows, bruh? All I did was state an opinion. And it wasn't even off base on logic or harsh.

If there are 2 stars in the league who aren't me first players, they are Steph Curry and Kawhi. Kawhi has been the ultimate team player his entire career until the drama last year.
thats the thing tho. "until the drama last year". the whole thing just seems odd to me.

Exactly. Think about how much MORE revenue a team could draw if he was evenly remotely marketable. The fact that you couldn't recognize his voice is exactly why he's unhappy with his shoe deal offers. The companies like Nike, Under Armour, Reebok all understand this. Teams do as well with their merchandise sales.

80 million, that's it. Most people wouldn't. Stupid!

It's Monoply money to us but I'm assuming Leonard isn't the flashy type to spend a lot and probably saves his cash.

We're trading Zaza and Pat McCaw to the Grizzlies for the #4 pick and Marc Gasol. So, no point in him hunting the Warriors anymore.

Gasol is aging. Get AD instead lol

I don't disagree. But him being an introvert isn't the reason why this thing fell apart.

Why the fuck would you throw 80 million away?
After taxes and agent fees it's about $36 mil. Still real money but how much can these guys spend? When you are at that level you want to spend money to make your life happy: rings, playing where you want, etc

When the difference was $3 mil on a $6 mil contract, that matters. When you make $30 per including endorsements, it doesn't matter much

He drives a '97 Tahoe, from what I read.

Also, I really really don't think the Spurs deal him to the Lakers if that's not the best deal they can get. Pop's not helping out another Western Conference powerhouse if he doesn't need to.

Not stupid.

Why can't people understand that money isn't everything in these situations?

Plus I'm sure of those $80 million, they're factoring in the extra year that the Spurs could offer versus any other team. Kawhi being in LA would offer more endorsement deals as well. He'd be leaving money on the table; but he also doesn't strike me as someone that lives a lavish lifestyle.

I once saw Magic at a gas station around the corner from Staples Center.

He was in a Gold Rolls Royce in the middle of one of the worst areas in Los Angeles.

Dude had his top down, keys in the ignition and went into the store.....

Two crackheads walked up to his car, we thought they were going to rob him.

One started cleaning his windshield, the other was wiping off his tires....

He came out and tried to give them some money and they said no....

You do so much for the homeless we just wanted to do something for you...

Dude is one step below Godly.

I worked in Beverly Hills at Bosley Medical on the graveyard shift....worked on the 9th floor. Magic's offices were on the 7th floor. Met him several times in the elevator, he's a down to earth dude. For real.

Met a bunch of athletes when I worked at the Glendale News-Press ands Magic was the realest one I ever met.

Yes. He played basketball at Canyon Springs in Mo Vall and MLK in Riverside.

I just dont see him going to LA or anywhere in the west for that matter........He does not have the final say on where he goes..........Spurs likely trade him out east........If I remember correctly the Celtics were interested in him and made offers to try to get him.................I dont see him in LA with Lebron this upcoming season................But I hope Im wrong.
