Sorry but it’s going to take more than Brown and picks. And most of those picks are protected in a range, if I am correct. I want Kyrie or Heyward and Brown and possibly a pick.
I agree.

In a vacuum... he'd be the easiest one to part with...If I'm a Celtics fan, I wouldn't want Kyrie on this team anymore.
Here's another thing:I agree with your earlier comment when it comes to Hayward... why on earth would San Antonio want him and his salary?
Why would they want Smart?Over at a Celtics fan site, this is a deal that was spiff-balled:
^ The economics of it work decently well for a team that would be rebuilding... and Brown is a fine prize apple. Better by himself than any of Kuzma, Ingram, Wiggins... or just about any other young prospect I've seen floated.
- Marcus Smart (sign and trade)
- Jaylen Brown
- Semi Ojeleye
- picks

To add fuel to the conspiracy fires....
Remember this?
Great time to ship his ass back for Picks, prospects...
Don't be like the Clippers.
Completely bottom out.
Report: LaMarcus Aldridge called Damian Lillard about facilitating trade back to Trail Blazers last year
I hear you to some extent... however, I'd argue when it comes to the crazy spectrum... Smart is more towards the 'good crazy' end of the spectrum. Why would they want Smart?
His temperament doesn't fit the Spurs model at all.
If the Celtics can land Kawhi, I'm sure they'll have no problem throwing in Hayward. The Spurs will likely need to throw in another play for the salaries to match. Problem is, the Spurs will be in full rebuild so they're probably not trying to gain another star which keeps them in mediocrity.
Presumably, Boston gives them the best assets and they'd avoid him being in the West.
Woj seems to agree .
I think Woj is right.
Brown and picks.
Brown and picks Trumps Kuz, Ingram 2 years of Deng and getting slaughtered by the Lakers super team 4 times a year.

Yeah, Wilbon just said it would probably by Kyrie to match salary. They can't trade Brown and picks though.
Boston's roster has 3 big money players and a bunch of guys on rookie deals. Either Kyrie, Hayward or Horford needs to be at the center of the deal to make the money work. That is, unless Boston is willing to come off of like all their young talent.
Didn't Dallas do it with Barnes? Are you allowed to trade a restricted FA signee right away? I didn't think you could do that.
I think the Spurs would want Tatum involved. How much are the Celtics willing to give up to make this happen?
Yeah, Wilbon just said it would probably by Kyrie to match salary.
Fat Ass ,Windhorst, just made a good point.
Kawhi can't sign an extension until 6 months after the trade.
So, everyone will have to take a risk.
He also said where Kawhi goes may block, not enhance, Lebron's choice.
