Exactly. To say ''no one'' would give up a big package of picks for Russ is nuts. How about the Heat? The Knicks? TWolves, Pacers, Mavs, Bulls, Nuggets, Suns...

Him and KD were obviously very close to being good enough to beating GS. I tend to like Russ more than most though.

I’d leave the bulls out. They wouldn’t put deng in a trade for Kobe. Garpax has been overvaluing their talent for 15 yrs. thunder “we want Wendell carter”. Garpax ehhh

Russ is 31 years old and his success is predicated on athleticism. He's been the lead dog for 3 straight years and doesn't have a series win to his credit in that span. Teams now know that they're not winning anything of significance with Russ as your #1.
If harden and Paul really can’t stand each other would okc be willing to take paul’s Shitty contract?

Allegedly the Thunder offered George and Westbrook for Siakam?

Not sure how they'd make that money work though

Maybe. Houston's probably going to ride with Harden in that situation. At least Russ and Harden are familiar with one another.

Russ does not have PG’s value for the reasons listed.

Some team desperate to sell tickets might want to deal for him (Knicks, Heat)

But they won’t give up anything close to the haul OKC got for PG because the Thunder don’t have leverage here and Russ’ value has dropped significantly.

He is a ball hogging, inefficient point guard who puts up numbers and competes, but he doesn’t win in the playoffs because he is inefficient.

Ding ding ding

And most teams see this now.

I was thinking the same.

Paul + multiple picks for Russ

Would be the type of splash Houston might look to make.

Also think Harden and Russ would be terrible

Seen this offer

Dragic, Bam, and Olynyk plus picks for Russ

When you are up 3-1 you are good enough, their heads got in the way. I blame ownership for bringing in Donovan that year.

Im not mad at Paul George and wish him the best. But dudes coming off double shoulder surgery and won't even be ready to go when the season starts. Presti took in a haul! We will look back at this trade in a few years.

Its funny UK mentioned Russ because having read up on it since it looks pretty likely he gets dealt also.

Good idea to press reset now when you have three dominant teams in the West now and the Jazz, Nuggets, Blazers right behind them.

Now just move the Clippers of Seattle so they’ll have fans actually root for them.
