I was actually pleased with his performance.

It wasn't flashy numbers wise and he still needs to put in some work with the new guys as their timing seemed a bit off but it was positive to see him go through progressions and actually hit check down guys which is something he really struggled with last season.

Felt like he was more sure and comfortable in where he was going with the football.

SF has been outscored 50-3 so far.

But the good news is their secondary gets owned a lot so they won't have to worry about the new Payton Manning rule creating more penalties for them.

I didn't catch any of the game and I know the niners didn't have a lot of their starters play, but losing 34-0 should raise a lot of red flags (especially at home). Even more so when the Hawks, played them close in Denver with a lot of starters not playing as well.

At the very least we should be able to put the "niners have the deepest roster in the league" talk.

I agree. I know that the aim of this thread is to troll the 9ers, but Kaep actually looked pretty good. He should have had a TD on the first possession of the game, but Lloyd didn't make what should have been a pretty easy catch (were he not pushed a bit by Talib). He also made a third down throw that should have picked up a first, but the ball bounced off his receiver's hands (Stevie Johnson, I think).

Another piece of good news for the 49er nation. Reports by the press say the food is incredibly expensive, but SF food snob quality. That's something to brag about this season.

Food available includes:

$28 Wagyu beef cheeseburger.

$24 Heirloom carrot tortellini with wilted kale, saffron broth and navel orange.

$10 Pretzel with "'merican beer-infused cheese," bacon and a coddled egg.

$18 two bacon-wrapped hot dogs topped with pork chicharrones, honey mustard and coleslaw

$16 Falafel burger with minted Greek yogurt, tahini and tomato jam.

$336 Kagoshima Rib Cap

$75 25-ounce Deus Belgiam Strong Ale

And this is good news too:

“We are going to be the most vegan-friendly stadium in the entire sports industry,” declares General Manager Zach Hensely.

In fact, there are even dedicated vegan dog stands serving Field Roast vegan franks, and 32 vegan menu options total, with at least one at every permanent food stand.

Make that 57-3.

SF's announcers during the Denver game about Gabbert: "You just hope he never has to play."

Are you serious on this? Who the F would pay that much money for ANY of that stuff? That stupid cheeseburger is probably the size of a McDonald's hamburger.

Vegan friendly? Jesus, just change the stadium colors to pink, shoot some rainbows over the skyline, and skip the seats and add benches folks can bend over on.

Bent over is correct.

The concessions price increase comes after large ticket cost hikes. Overall, the cost for two face-value nosebleed seats, a couple of beers and a pair of hot dogs at Levi's will cost $243, up from $88.50 at Candlestick. That's on top of a new seat license program in Santa Clara that runs $2,000 to $80,000 per fan for the right to get face-value tickets.

This.

That long pass looked almost perfect to me. Lloyd had a step on the defender and the pass was right over the shoulder. Lloyd short-armed it - didn't even attempt to reach out for it. Not sure what the deal was, like he misjudged it or something. Plays like that just may cost Lloyd a roster spot.

Had that pass connected, Kaep's stats would have looked much better. But aside from that, I thought Kaep looked fine. He's getting better with his progressions. First receiver isn't open, 2nd receiver isn't open, check it down.

Now our backup QB's are an entirely different story.

And how is someone who took his team to the Conference Championship game be overrated? Do you sometimes listen to your own B.S?

QB's dont take teams. Teams as a whole do. Plus why do some of you fools take anything out of preseason? Just saying.
