The reports from ESPN say 6yr/100 mil...I'm ok with it. Time will tell if his contract chokes us from holding onto other guys but he's shown to be a difference maker (for better or for worse) which makes him a game changer. I'm ok with 6 yr/100 mil...he's only 26, just entering his third year starting and getting better as he goes. Pay heeem, pay that man his money.

Deal is pretty much par for the course for franchise QB money so the numbers don't really bother me.

It boils down to if you believe the guy is franchise QB material than it shouldn't bother you but if you believe he's not than almost any deal would've stupid.

Both those figures are at the deal's max but Rodgers is more than 1 mill per year better than him. This is not to denegrate Kaep but hes got a long way to go to reach top 5 at his position, but he is already being paid around that amount.

aside from running well, kap has never impressed me.

a great running qb, very poor in his reads, hangs his balls a bit, stares down receivers.......to quick to pull the pocket.....and not super accurate beyond 4 yards on the run
