Whitehurst, yes. Gabbert, the jury is still out. Kap was atrocious last year before he was benched. Kap's play has progressively gotten worse in each year since his debut season as the league adjusted to his play style. I don't see this changing.

The arm hasn't really been his problem. The problem has been between his ears. He doesn't read defenses well and makes poor decisions. My fear is his mind has been on other things instead of improving his skills.

As a 49ers fan Im happy. Watching Gabbert play QB was like watching paint dry. Kap should open up the offense a little. Either his career will be done or he will do well enough to stay in the league. Cant wait to find out.

Thats for sure. How much better we will find out. Gabbert was last is almost every QB Cat so Kap should be able to out perform him.
