Why don't we just put all the keepers back and start over then? Less than ten managers really sucks. As far as I'm concerned we can have a redraw for draft position, too.

there's a FFL forum here on SportsHoopla, someone will join up if you post there.
Now, if the new guy is stupid enough to keep Russel Wilson and accept picking last, the jokes on him.

Russell Wilson was 16th in points last season.

The draft order is set by the previous years performance (the best team picks last, etc).

The draft order is set by how you did the previous year. LOL...its not static.

We don't have to change anything but Dan's diaper. I've already got someone who will take his spot btw.

you should design your league to use the keepers as a retention tool. That's what they are for, basically, and it's supposed to be fun.

The problem here is obviously kramer.
I wouldn't be too out of line to think he'll screw this league up somehow, it's not much fun when he starts running all the zombie teams, but I guess he thinks that's pretty cool.

umm, yea, I also drafted damn near last, even though I was close to last place.

I don't have anyone on my team worth keeping. I could select anyone on that roster by waiting until the 4th round. bottom line is, I don't have to play. keepers are a retention tool, because it's fun to keep your best player. A lot of keeper leagues don't force someone to "just pick someone damn it!"
Any intelligent owner is going to say "uh... no, lol"

We can stop talking about it.

I'm out.

I'm not going to join a league run by someone who's retarded enough to say "keep Russel Wilson"
He's a QB, this is FFL, you can get Russel Wilson in the mid rounds.

For the record, I did a Fantasty Draft, in a 12 team league last night, with some writer friends and Russell Wilson went in round 5 or 6. Kaepernick went in the 3rd or 4th.

3rd would be kinda high, but if someone really believes in him, they should do ok, my guess is they are going to try to convince him to be patient and stay in the pocket and make good decisions rather than running willy nilly like he did last season. more of a Steve young/Elway than a Randal/Vick

Hell, my keeper is a huge question mark, health wise, but it is what it is.

Neither of those guys are worthy keepers. They are QB 2's in a 2 QB league or in a league that has a flex position.

I've been trying for years to get our league to go from a 1 keeper league to an option 2 keeper league. You can keep up to 2 players, or 0 players, but the 2nd player you keep (if you keep 2) has to be drafted in round 5 or 6 of that prior year. It rewards you for drafting well in the later rounds by being able to designate a keeper that is a steal, and also doesn't muck up the first part of the draft if everyone keeps 2.

Gonads and Blue still need to tell me who they want to keep.

They're top 8 fantasy QB's. How many teams are in this league where they're 2nd QB's? 3?

12 teams.

1 keeper.

Most guys get 2 QB's because of our flex position. I would say that 9/10 of the 12 teams in our league start 2 QB's simply because getting a 2nd QB that's worth a damn is a lot easier than trying to find a 3rd RB worth starting on any given week.

Also, FWIW, in our ESPN league, Kapernick is ranked 8th based on our scoring system. Wilson is ranked 12th.

only 10 teams, so only 10 starting QBs needed.

in this league you prob don't need to draft a QB until all your RB/WR slots are filled. hell, you could probably pick up Carson Palmer and Alex Smith after drafting your backups.

if I were going to keep someone, D. Thomas or D. Wilson would be the targets, as they are much more valuable from a FFL perspective. D Thomas is at least a 3rd rounder and D Wilson is a good prospect and you need good RBs to compete in ff.
Still, I look at the keepers as a first round pick. but whatever.
