Wow, it still amazes me what some of these players do and what they don't understand. Being a professional athlete is like hitting the Lottery. Some take it for granted.

Is he suspended for the "rest" of the season or for 1 full year? (16 games?)

I liked Blackmon in college, but I remember an interview with him and something about him just did not seem right. I had the same feeling about Serio Kindle; I even started a couple of threads about 'em saying as much back on the 4-letter forum. I'm guessing it's just drug use that makes 'em weird. It's like when you see a crack head on the street asking you for money only to a lesser degree; you just know something is off with the guy.

They're saying he's suspended "indefinitely", and will be eligible to apply for reinstatement before the 2014 season.

Well, I'm awfully glad I didn't drop Keenan Allen or Shane Vereen to grab a bye-week TE. This guy may be done. If he couldn't last more than a quarter of the season without failing a test, he's got a serious problem.

The real question is will this put an end to the Jags' playoff / Super Bowl chances?

Is it too early to start photoshopping Jadaveon Clowney into a Jags' uniform? Or are they so inept that they'll take a future-bust QB instead with the #1 overall pick?

In addition to sucking so badly, they just have no luck. They trade Monroe to move Joeckel to LT, then Joeckel gets hurt that week. They have exactly one player on offense who looks promising, and he has this.

Maybe all these incidents are a big ruse, and just a staunch team-wide commitment to tanking. Maybe Gabbert is actually good, but is hiding it for one more year to ensure the #1 next year.

This is the reason why I'm somewhat relieved we didn't make a strong push for Gordon. Not that Gordon is guaranteed to slip up, but he can't help anyone sitting out for the year.

The first time I heard him give an interview I thought he came out as being very articulate. He was a young college kid coming off of a big win (forgot which game, but I that time he was leading the nation in receptions and yards). After that game I thought he presented very well during the interview. Well at least for a football player.

Bridgewater over clowney???? thats debatable... unless one veiws Teddy on the level of Luck or RG3....

if not, I would see Clowney taken over anyone.
