depends on the QB season and QB points... its been popular for QBs to score 6 points per passing TD for a while, but don't forget it used to be 4 points as standard... and 25 yards per point...

When Michael Vick was good, he was a number one pick because he ran so much... and got Rushing TDs...
I noticed I missed a few words in my original post....

Like I said tho.... this guy is no dummy... He does his fantasy homework... so while he may pass on a first round RB or WR (to draft a QB), his teams do pretty good. Was in 1 league with him for 3 years. He only missed the playoffs once.

Plus he'd draft his backup QB real early, like when other owners were drafting their starting QB.

I guess because his teams did well, you just could not convince him to wait on a QB. I would image he's not alone in his philosophy.

Trading with him was darn near impossible though. Because even a bad QB would outscore most players, he'd want a kings ransom for your best player.

When the commish lowered the passing TD to 4 points, I thought his head would explode. He lasted 1 more year and then quit because he didn't like that QB scoring was being adjusted to (quote) lower their value.

Honestly though, I rember when the top 3 QBs really scored significantly more than the rest... THen it wasn't a bad move to get the QB first...

Problem is that now the difference between the first and whatever QB is not as significant...

This is definitely a lopsided trade especially when the person trading away EE has zero RB depth and plenty of QB’s in FA.
