You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.
I noticed I missed a few words in my original post....depends on the QB season and QB points... its been popular for QBs to score 6 points per passing TD for a while, but don't forget it used to be 4 points as standard... and 25 yards per point...
When Michael Vick was good, he was a number one pick because he ran so much... and got Rushing TDs...
Like I said tho.... this guy is no dummy... He does his fantasy homework... so while he may pass on a first round RB or WR (to draft a QB), his teams do pretty good. Was in 1 league with him for 3 years. He only missed the playoffs once.
Plus he'd draft his backup QB real early, like when other owners were drafting their starting QB.
I guess because his teams did well, you just could not convince him to wait on a QB. I would image he's not alone in his philosophy.
