Word is that the Giants have asked the Patriots for permission to talk to Josh McDaniels about becoming the
Head Coach of the New York Giants. They've also asked to talk to Nick Caserio about becoming GM. If Caserio takes the job, he could move immediately and not have to wait until the season ends.

Belichick hired Ernie Accorsi as a consultant and he'd probably move right into Caserio's office.

I could see Josh going there. It’s been awhile but Coach B could give him some advice on coaching in NY.(Giants. Not the piece of shit Jets)

Maybe Josh would go to NYC to coach the Giants, but I don't know why he would want to take on that train wreck.

It's a shitbum organization, they have a skeezy, backstabbing POS owner, no QB worth a damn, mental midgets manning (no pun, I swear!) most of the skill positions and a fanbase that will be buying their children Jets jerseys for Christmas. :L

In a desperation move, they just promoted the one coach that was responsible for their last two SB wins which means his career is just about over and he'll have to try to resurrect this moribund franchise with the mouth breathing NYC press tucked half way up his ass. Good luck Steve!

So far on ESPN and FOX Radio they've mentioned several teams that will be looking for new head coaches in 2018.

NY Giants
Chicago Bears
Cincinnati Bengals
Indianapolis Colts

Possible but not certain...

Cleveland Browns

Arizona Cardinals

Could be, Might be, Not really sure

I could easily accept several of these over the Giants.
Do New Yorkers know that Mora is not the Mora his dad was?

Some are better coordinators than head coaches.
Some just need that second chance.
Bill Parcells gave BB and second chance, BB gave Josh the same chance at redemption.

On that note, I don't see Josh going to New York.

Or Chicago, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Cleveland, or Oakland.

Arizona or Tampa Bay Maybe.

Houston and Tennessee will not be looking for a Head coach. Not this year anyway.
Houston was having a great season until the rookie qb went down. Titans are have their best season in a long time.

Wouldn't they hire GM first and let him pick his HC? This sounds like rumor mill pooh. No coach is going to hire on a place where they are GM shopping too, he knows he will have a very short leash

Denver says "have fun with that"

I'm not sure Denver fans should be commenting on coaches right now considering the train wreck you've got coaching your team. Anything would be better than what you've got right now.

Ya, Josh's first tenure as a HC didn't go well but one would assume he learned his lesson. Consider yourselves the practice run. He definitely has the skills to be a HC but was over-confident/ignorant the first go around.

He certainly had the cheating part down "Pat"

Perfect fit in Denver, the biggest cheaters in the history of pro sports. Please don't pretend that winning the Super Bowl two years in a row while violating the salary cap by over 30 million dollars each year is not the biggest cheating scandal in sports history. How can there be a bigger advantage than having a 30 million head start over everybody else?

p.s. The Broncos are currently 3 and 9 and last place in their division now that they're not violating the salary cap.

Coaches are off limits until after the season. Teams can talk to potential GMs anytime. Josh has done a pretty good job of staying focused over the years.

McDaniels was underwhelming when he was Denver's head coach. I don't understand New York's fascination with him.
