Vincent Valentine's needed a major wake up call for a long time. He deserves to be put on blast.

Kid needs to get his priorities straight.

He's in the best possible position imaginable and we all just wanna see him succeed.

You can lead a horse to water....but Xbox is more fun.

There are no black-shirts to lose in fall camp, so why make the effort to retain one or take one? The guys that have been in Bo's system long enough to halfway know the X's and O's will get to play. You know...the 'Leaders'. You yungin's is on yer own.

Wow props for jmitch and honestly I'm glad he's blasting this. So now we don't have to worry about the excuses and execution spearhead we get after each loss.

If you have to go to twitter you can tell it was last option.

While we're hear tell the boys on offense to get ready to score 60 a game this defense is young and some have been here for lil while and yet commitment issue are happening???

Wow

Idk why some people think it's. Stoops, Meyer, Saban etc. regularly put their players on blast to the media. That's even more exposure.

Everyone has different buttons that need to be pushed to be motivated. Maybe VV is one of those kids who needs to be exposed to everyone as lazy for him to get his shit together. Pretty much everyone already had that impression of him anyway, so it's nothing shocking.

Like J. Mitch said though, it's not just him. Sounds like a widespread problem.

If they are content with getting their shit tossed again on that side of the ball, then they should just keep doing what they're doing right now. Nothing.

I guess I would choose to handle my buisness in houes rather then take it to the internet. I would have to believe that the team calling him out would have more of a effect on me then twitter would. I could be wrong but if VV is the lazy POS that everyone says he is the situation will more then likely handle itself then to bring fans and the world into it.

title of thread made me curious.

My Opinion: If I am one of those teammates this gentleman is "calling out" I simply tweet back, "Then call me out in person, not on twitter."

Simple, I know many will applaud this man for getting pissed and showing emotion and calling out teammtes that aren't putting in the work or going as hard as him. But a true leader does not blast his teammates on social media on the internet for all to see. He does it in a team meeting, in person, man to man.

He's kinda making himself look like a pussy and a drama queen for letting the entire world to see his teams problems.

He isn't just calling out VV though.

but we've gotta handle the "leaders" who arent being accountable before we can get on any1 lower.

I agree. I dont think the world needs to be brought into this. Team meeting call them out its not like VV fat ass is going to do anything. Either get better or get out. Plain and simple.

Maybe he already has?

Maybe he's tired of being associated with a defense that gives up 48, 45, 63, 70 ?

This could be, and maybe that is why he thinks calling him out online is the better route and maybe will hit them where it hurts. Since person to person hasn't worked. But still, I just don't think you ever publicize team and locker room issues. Opens things up that shouldn't be opened up, you want to have a tight knit family you deal with things behind closed doors.

But you're right, if he already has tried to deal with them in person and through team meetings, what else could he do? What else can be done to get these guys to work hard?

Either express frustrations with coaches, coaches then threaten limited PT..

He finds other team mates willing to put in the work and they band together and attempt to steal the starting jobs of these lazy ones.

Now of course with these options, there could be major political BS taking place amongst the lazy players and the ones putting in work, maybe these "leaders" he speaks of are granted this leadership via coaches, therefore he probably doesn't want to bring this issue up with coaches and even if others put in the extra work and get better and maybe become better than the starters they won't take away those "leaders" PT because of the political relationship with coaches...
