 NFL trade deadline is boring compared to the NHL trade deadline.

Baalke better makesure he gets a number one wr in this upcoming draft. I have zero faith he can do that.

So you think Gordon wouldn't have been a good trade?

No, I think he would have been a good trade but not sure how willing the Browns were to give him up for even a 2nd rounder and a decent player. Obviously the Browns weren't satisfied enough with the offers from multiple teams and I can't blame them. If he gets his head on straight he's very talented as he's shown with marginal QBs there.

Glad the deadline wasn't next week. With Rice injury they may have gotten active with CLE.

Ok. I thought you meant that you didn't think he was worth the trade of a 2nd round pick. I'm picking up what you're throwing down now.

Man, they should have made a strong push for this guy. Looking at it now a 2nd round pick at the bottom (according to sources) would have been a steal.

In my one fantasy league I drafter Calvin and Marshall high, and took a mid round flyer on Gordon to be my backup/waiver week WR.

Now I'm going to bench Marshall and start Gordon. Fantasy wise Calvin and Gordon are 1-2.

I doubt they were only asking for a second for him.

I could care less about the possibility of a future suspension. I can't understand why Baalke thought Josh Gordon was not worth a 2nd rounder. Even if whatever 2nd rounder they draft pans out, what's the point of waiting when the goal is to win now. Also, watching Alshon Jeffery blow up today did not help my mood at all.

If all they wanted was a 2nd rounder he would be playing for someone else.

Damn I wish we traded for him. The price tag just went up to a 1st rd pick now. We should of done it for a 2nd rd pick.
