Well it was worth a try.
Too bad he didn't stay clean, threw away a lucrative career.

Well if its true it's not about Stardom and the NFL Life. It's about maturation, I'm not one of those I have disease type bullshit dudes. He chooses to live the life he knows, that on him.

I agree. The Browns finally cut bait because he injured himself during some kind of dumb promotion he wasn't supposed to be at.

Just a guy with all the physical tools in the world but can't keep it together. Such a shame. He would've been a top 20 all time receiver imo.

Now all we need is for Gronk to get his annual season ending injury and Super Bowl here we come.

NE has plenty of depth at WR.
This may force Brady to look elsewhere and get back to the short slant/wheel/screen routes.

It will also help if the boys can hold onto the damn ball.

From personal experience, addiction to anything is a lifelong process if you try to kick it. I haven't had a drink of hard liquor for 48 years and every time some one walks by me with a cocktail glass with JB on the rocks or Johnny Walker Black my entire body tenses up and it takes every bit of my self controlnot to rip the glass from their hand. My body doesn't crave it, but my brain is starved for it.

Support from people who truly love you is the only thing that can help you get from day to day.

Anyone got a menthol cigarette? I had my last Kool in 1977.

I would like to know what the violation was.
Did he piss hot?
Did he miss an AA/NA meeting?
Did he step out of the bathroom to answer the door and couldn't fill the cup for his pop quiz because he had just gone?

What was the violation?

We'll probably never know. Unless Josh reveals it himself. That's how it's supposed to work under the terms of the policy, anyway.

Stay strong Ken. I have a brother who's been battling an alcohol and drug addiction.

My heart goes out to him. It's a one day at a time thing and everyday without make the next day easier. Sadly, addiction is a self inflicted wound and the most diffivult pasrt of the process is not blaming yourself, but forgiving yourself. You have no idea what anything will do to you when you ingest it for the first time. I know a couple of people who do heroin for a kick and can spike all weekend and then go six months and never touch the stuff. I just know that there's going to be that weekend that they'll never come back from.
