Redskins again turn to rookie TE Jordan Reed down the stretch

It just looks like a matter of time before he becomes the starter. His talent, attitude, work ethic, production means Fred Davis better shape up or he will be shipped out.

I just read that Davis blew a lot of assignments in the Packers game. So he was benched for Reed. He could be good trade bait right now.

They aren't going to trade Fred at this point, you can never tell when the injury big hits and we need the depth. However, he may not be on this team next year. Jordan is a more dangerous receiver and has turned into a surprising adequate blocker. He should only get better.

We have plenty of depth at TE and if we can get a good draft pick for him we should.

You'll get nothing for him. One puff away from serious suspension, coming off a serious Achilles tear, and has played poorly this year. Who's is going to trade for him?

Who the hell is going to give us a 5th round pick for this guy? No one wanted him when he was a FA this offseason. I've always felt many on this board have overvalued Fred. he's had one good year before he got suspended, but he is not in the top echelon of TEs like many were espousing over the winter. I'm telling you, no one will trade for him right now.

If we could get both Reed and Davis on the field and producing at relatively the same time... I can think of a few fan bases that would be HIGHLY pissed off.

I am sure they took Reed with the Vision of having him and Davis on the field together.......I believe, that our team breaks out of the funk on all 3 phases, and with a lead, or not being blown out, we will be able to open up the playbook more....try some of those plays they have wanted to play including both Reed and Davis on the field together
