Henry got 12.5 three years ago before contracts spiked.

Did RB contracts spike? The aforementioned Kamara and McCaffrey extensions were also 3 years ago and are still the high water marks for the league (and hold false value).

You just named two running backs that get receptions like starting WRs. Not exactly apples to oranges.

McCaffrey's extension was 3 years ago and has since been restructured. His top cap hit is $14M in any given season in that deal.

Kamara's extension was also 3 years ago. His restructure pushed the majority of his salary to the final 2 seasons which I doubt he ever sees (at least not that final season with a $29M cap hit). If they do keep him, it will be with another massive restructure.

Details.
The 18 that you were citing is no different than the 15 and 16 for their deals. The details would bring the 18 down too. It would be reported as 18. You know this.

Contracts spiked. We are talking about accepting the financial abuse of running backs to justify not increasing their salaries as the cap increases. Keep up.

He's not getting 18. No running back has ever made 18, and today's climate concerning RB contracts is not going to create the first.

If 18 wasn't an issue, there would be no trade request.

18 is an issue because the runningbacks are being financially abused compared to their peers. I could tell you didn't get that.

Same year as the other two outlier contracts. Why no greater RB contracts since?

How about Matthew Stafford? Rams leading rusher in the Super Bowl had 21 yards, a 3rd rounder coming back early from injury.

If you're going to invalidate any of Brady's or Mahomes' teams, then championship discussions get really thin.
Yep...KC and TB were the 2 first teams that came to mind ....forgot about LA.

Abused, lol.
And another one that wants to be illogical. If you can't accept that we are discussing two groups of people that are very well off than you aren't capable of having this discussion.

I'm slobbing on billionaires simply because I think JT is going about this the wrong way. Weird take. I think JT is asking for too much and being a baby about it. That's it.

Your list has what, 15 WRs making more than RBs? Most including money that the players will never see?

Tough to tell, since your copy and paste formatting was shit...

You would follow it just fine with a more capable brain.

What are you paying for if not "importance to the offense?"
