That is a flat out lie. They are not.The bold is false, Running backs are just as valuable now as always, teams has just discovered they can run them into the ground before they can make real money and then never pay them. They use RB's that carried offenses for years falling apart after an extension as proof, but that does not prove their value is lower, it proves they break down faster.
Look at the last 5-6 SB winners....how many had a RB that was a high draft pick? Then look at their receivers.....
You need a really good to elite receiver or 2.
You can plug and play at the RB position and still win.
