Yep, there is still a chance.....once again, we just need to take care of a little business.

3 of the 5 bubble teams that played tonight lost.........that is huge for us.

Joe Lunardi just updated his bubble watch..........Nebraska has moved up to the "First four out"

Nebraska and Colorado are both in the first four out group.......as well as Baylor......so basically, Baylor losing to Texas and Nebraska beating Colorado........holy shit.....

We are literally right there on the fucking edge..........right fucking there. We could seriously get in with a win over Colorado and a first round win over Iowa State.

I can't believe how lucky we've gotten with all these bubble teams losing...........there have been like 7 teams in the last 2 days that were ahead of us who lost.

On ESPN just now I heard them say "Nebraska @ Colorado all of a sudden is possibly a play-in game for the NCAA tournament."

This is just unreal to me........

Okay, now seriously...........our chances just sky rocketed with all the teams on the bubble losing between yesterday and today.

And now you have to look at the teams that are currently on the bubble............I'm struggling to see how any team has a better resume than Nebraska........Colorado has a decent one.

Nebraska has 7 quality RPI wins..........Colorado has 6.

Then you look at a team like Michigan who Lunardi currently has in the tournament.........they haven't beat a team yet better than 42nd in the RPI rankings.

I think if Nebraska beats Colorado, we pick up our 8th quality win........suddenly we look pretty dangerous. Based on my basketball knowledge (I don't claim to be an expert, but I've followed this sport for years) a win over Colorado and a first round win over ISU in the Big 12 tourney would give us a 65% chance of making it.

Winning first and second round games in the Big 12 would give us a 90% chance.

No Colorado is actually the first team out right now........we are the 4th team out.........beating Colorado would be HUGE.

Well, I am not sure how they do all their predictions and such as for who is in or out... but I have to believe Nebraska should have higher ratings then Baylor, Colorado, Michigan, Bama, Old Dominion, Missouri State, Richmond, Oakland.. and some of these other darn teams..... that are showing up on the bubble.. or in already...

Shit guys Bama might beat UGA Saturday.
-They haven't lost to an SEC team at home yet(Hope that changes)
-Lost 2 in a row and got drilled by Florida the last game.
-19-10 overall but have a weak RPI & SOS. This is the most important game of the season for them and is sold out already.
-GA is already a lock for the tourney but this could help their(GA) seeding if they win.
-UGA tends to play slightly better on the road IMO and could sneak this one out, shattering Bama's bubble.

I agree.......and here's the thing.......

Nebraska has the quality wins that I've already mentioned, and based on our conference schedule we have the 5th ranked strength of schedule in the country..........out of 346 teams!

I mean seriously I can't understand why they give the Big East 11 bids, but they can't look at how good the Big 12 is this year and give our conference 7 bids.

Nebraska is going to end the season with a more difficult strength of schedule than all of those Big East teams, and they are going to end the season with a better record than half of them.........yet, we find ourselves on the outside trying to claw our way in, and there will be several teams who will get beat by 30 points in the first round of the NCAA tourney.

I guarantee you if Nebraska got a bid they would be competitive and maybe even win their first round game.
