Ha haa ... I kno right hat AFC East is one tuff division. Putting multiple teams in the playoffs every year. Sometimes as many as 3.

Oh wait that's the AFC NORTH.

You're up kinda late on a school night ain't ya, Scooter?

stats don't = elite, wins in the playoffs do.

I guess Brady is 75% more elite than Flacco.

Come on be honest, do you really think wins on a team sport is about an individual? Do you THINK Flacco is a better QB than Marino?

I think QBs that do well in the playoffs are rare. No single position on a team can make or break u in the NFL playoffs. It's bc of this that I hold a high regard for hose that win in the playoffs and Super Bowls. Flacco wins.

So did Dilfer. So is he elite too. Your ideas are weak at best.

Actually I think throwing Dilfer up because he won one SB is weak. Dilfer was a one year fill in that got released after winning the SB. Flacco is the Ravens offense for the most part. He's not getting released any time soon. Flacco is good. I'd be happy with him as my team starting QB. Elite? Not yet, but it's early in his career. I think he does perform better in the play offs then the regular season. With out bothering to google it, I'd bet it looks better then Romo's or Bree's, most likely better then Peyton or Luck, in play off time.

I threw Dilfer to show simply wining a SB doesn't make one elite. Marino never won a SB and I consider him elite. Tgann is off his rocker with this Flacco is elite crap. The RAVENS were the SB champs and Flacco was just one man who had a great run in "12".

Over the years, I've changed my opinion of Marino from elite to very good. He really should of had more success if he was actually elite.

18 games, he only won 8 in the playoffs.

Out of his teams how many were truely good enough to win the SB? IMO not many. The Dolphins did Dan no favors. Had he played for the the 9'rs or Dallas with those teams as built how many does he win. Odds are at least 4 maybe more. I loved Troy but Dan was the better QB.

I will disagree. His numbers are nothing more than average and that's with the 4 great games in 2012.

Remove 2012 and he's below average.

One great year doesn't = elite.

Ravens are 7-3 in the post season since he's started since 2010.... 24 touchdowns with only 5 int's ... That's pretty effin good.... He's also just the 3rd QB in NFL history to post a rating of more than a 100 for at least 5 consecutive post-seasons games..... He also had 166 post season passes without and INT prior to the AFC championship game vs the Pats... He's been very good in the post season...

Very good in 3 post seasons yes. Take away the great (Elite) 2012 do you know what his stats are?

W-L, Comp - Atempt % - TD - INT
6-5, 180 - 2083 - 56.1 - 14 - 10

He was Great (ELITE) in 2012, out side of that he is average. I guess I have a high standard.

Yeah, but what kind of talent on offense have the Ravens had? Best RB, Ray Rice, Justin Forsett? Best WR ? Anquan Boldin, Torrey Smith, or who? Flacco has carried this offense, the defense while being good is not great. Flacco deserves a ton of credit for the Ravens success to this point.

Bolin and Smith were very nice WR's not great but a lot better than average. Flacco has always had a running game behind him and a very good OL's in front.

Please don't think I'm saying Flacco sucks. He is a very good QB just not in the elite status. Again maybe my standards are high but being the best for a year or 2 doesn't equal elite.

Who would you consider elite ? Obviously Brady and Manning but who after that ?

Rodgers. Truths is we can have a few years with no elite QB's on any team.

Rodgers yes of course.... I would say Manning, Brady, Rodgers are the most elite guy's right now... Let's say their 1st tier... 2nd tier you would have to put Flacco in their somewhere...

I could see Flacco in with the 2nd tier QB's.
In a few years Luck should move into the penthouse.

I no longer consider Manning as Elite. Yes he will go down as one of the all time elite QB's but he is not the same Manning as a few years ago. Still very good just no longer playing at an elite level.
