On a more serious note, if Jody Shelley was not to be another NHL game, would you miss him?!? Same question for Steve MacIntyre?!? Or Raitis Ivanans?!? None of these guys have any discernible hockey skills whatsoever.

I really didn't think it was all that bad. I only saw the replay once but it appeared as though the guy was looking at Shelly when it happened. Plus it was in a scrum. Sure he didn't have his gloves off but I would call it more a cheap shot than a sucker punch.

But I agree, Shelly can't do anything but fight (and by the end of his stint in San Jose he couldn't even do that well).
