If I'm Dan Bylsma though, I'm a little pissed at the Pens for leaving me twisting in the wind all this time while other teams were looking at and hiring coaches.

Yeah on the other hand he was still getting a pay check to really do nothing. He knew he was out so he could take the year, do some TV work and then get a job with openings next season.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure Dan will be fine going forward, I just think the Pens should have cut loose Shero and Disco Dan at the same time.

Yeah it was a crap move by the Front office and it shows liked stated earlier they had no plan.

Burkle did say that they wanted the new GM to make the decision on Bylsma's future.

on the serious tip, John Garrett was in the cesspool the other day and Pierre Mcguire was telling people (not 1 person ... plural ... people) in hockey media that he would take them (again ... plural) with him if he got the Pens GM job

Oh just imagine any post game/intermission stuff with that group, along with Errey/Steigerwald. Root Sports Pittsburgh might get the highest ratings ever just to listen to that circus.

Yeah I just think the whole offseason movement was crap. Stringing Byslma along was pointless I don't see how any new GM would want him after the post season all the post season issues.

I don't understand firing Shero still. He was great in trades, signed a lot of good contracts (a few bad ones, yes, but a lot of good ones), and if you were displeased with the draft, overhaul the scouting department.
