Great game for Pau. Since the Lakers aren't winning anything this year, I hope he stays healthy and gets himself another ring.

He has been just what the Doctor ordered in Chicago.

As evidenced by the Success of the Raps, Bulls and the Warriors, some times the moves you don't make are the best ones.

* Lowry trade to NY, Signing Melo, trading Klay for Love *

Amazing what happens when he has a coach that isn't telling him to stand at the 3 pt line

the Lakers really blew it the last couple years.

They should have made moves like the Celtics and capitlized on moving Howard and Gasol. If they did that they could have accelerated the rebuilding process and could have a couple solid draft picks or young players as a cheap core to build around.

Its one of the things teams get wrong. The first thing you should do is tear it down, and get a base of decent young cheap talent- because when you go into free agency or make trades for studs- you just dont have the cap space and assets to add to the team.

Its what the Knicks messed up big time in their first rebuild.

The Cavs did a good job of it- all though they did a pretty poor job hitting on their own picks- imagine if they drafted some really good players instead of Bennett and Waiters- maybe they dont have to deal Wiggins for Love if they had Drummond and Oladipo to deal......

but the Cavs did have assets- they dealt Zeller and a first rounder and Karasev in order to open up the cap room for LeBron

they had all the assets to trade for Love

and they still had assets leftover to add Haywood's expiring contract (which is a really nice trade chip- just about the last they have left)- the Memphis pick, the trade exception - which they turned into Smith, Shumpert and Mozgov.....

if you have nothing left to add role players to put around your studs once you get them then you are in trouble. The Cavs made that mistake the first time around with LeBron- the Knicks made that mistake- and the Lakers look to be making that mistake....

What the fuck does Pau having a great game last night have to do with Kobe and the Lakers?

sorry- maybe this is more on point

damn- that was a great game by Gasol- perhaps he had more left in his tank than his previous team thought.....even at his age he is getting it done....

if the guy stays healthy he can be a big time factor in May and June!!!!

You guys would be faves to win it all if he had come to GSW. He is exactly what the doctor ordered for the Warriors.

He met with Bob Myers but nothing happened. But I still think we are top3 to win it all IMO

Top 3 as currently constructed is a bit of a reach. I'd put the Bulls, Spurs and Grizzlies ahead of the Warriors right now and maybe the Blazers too.

If you guys had gotten Pau, I'd have you as no worse than 2.

He took less money to go to Chicago. You realize that, right?

The biggest thing management did wrong was waiting so long last summer to sign Scott....free agents wanted to know they had a plan and signed with other teams when they were dragging their feet.

I think he was being sarcastic as in slamming the Lakers because they didn't have the smarts to resign Gasol not to mention that Mike Brown and D'antoni both misused him pretty badly

Grizz? Nah. Bulls? We just beat them pretty easily, blazers I don't agree either we are more deep and better on both sides of the ball. Spurs probably the only team that can keep up when healthy. What makes you think all these teams are ahead of us when we are an elite defense #1 and 4th on offense??

Because playoff basketball is different, when's the last time the Warriors went to the WCF? 1975?
