Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics:

Most signs point to Boston. Better defensive team, more stars. Better health.

The biggest point for Milwaukee is that they have the most consistent star on the floor.

I think I'm wrong, but I'll take Milwaukee in 7. I just don't want to pick against Milwaukee, even if I'm wrong.

I don't like Milwaukee's offense, they take bad 3's.

Milwaukee in 7.

Golden State Warriors vs. Memphis Grizzlies:

Memphis plays harder and more consistently.

Golden State is a bit up and down.

Memphis has a lot of depth, more than Golden State.

But I think Golden State wins this in a short series. Hope I'm wrong on the winner.

I think Golden State wins the two opening road games, and loses one at home.

Golden State in 5.

Same, but Golden State in 6. And I think Milwaukee will win in 6, but I’m not confident. Teams that sweep in Round 1 but weren’t top seed, I can see taking longer to respond.

Okay, now I saw the results of game one. I still have the same response. Though I wish Golden State had lost this game and maybe won one they should’ve lost later (to
make it even). The reason is, I would like Draymond to think that he cost his team. But now that they won, there’s nothing there.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Miami Heat:

Adebayo hasn't been as good this year as in years past. He's going to get in foul trouble by Embiid.

However, among the two teams' stars, I trust Butler the most. Especially with Embiid out for an indeterminate time table.

This could go 6, but I'll say 5. Nah, I'll say 4.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns:

Oh TNT crew. Should have wished for game 7's on Saturday, because I think you're going to hate how short the days with these two series are.

Phoenix is pretty balanced, and will have the right defensive schemes.

Doncic will shoot <40% for the series.

This might be a small stretch, but Ayton will continue to average 20 ppg for this series.

Dallas lack of size will hurt them.

Phoenix in 4.

Chris Paul is guarding Doncic again.

Can they take away Monty's coach of the year? Because he's coaching like a butt cheek.

(Monty said yesterday that his son's room smells like this : )

Holiday had both the game saving block, and the game saving steal.

What is Chris Paul known for more?

Losing a home playoffs game by 58 points in 2008 to the Nuggets?

Trailing an elimination game at home by 46 points in 2022 to the Mavericks?

Losing 5 series leads of 2-0?

Did you like how Antetokounmpo had 6 assists in the first quarter of game 7?

It looked like a good sign that Milwaukee would win. Even though they would get blown out shortly afterward, and would trail by 5 at halftime, despite being up by double digits in the first (24-14).

Were they winning after the first quarter? Did he stop getting assists after? How did the team adjust to him passing a lot? Or was he passing the same amount but they were hitting and then they got cold? I didn’t see the game.

They were still up after the first, but only 6. Their largest lead was 10.

Yes, he didn't get many assists afterwards. He finished with 9. (Still had 20 rebounds).

Milwaukee went 4-33 from 3-point range, so that might have had something to do with the assists.

I don't know if the Celtics adjusted. But the Bucks shooting 36.7% from the field, probably made a lot of the players anxious. Maybe they either took more dribbles, or took shots out of their range.

Meanwhile, Grant Williams on Boston went 7/18 on 3's. I didn't really know who he was. (I had seen him play in the series, but he never stood out before that day). Boston made 22 3's. There's probably going to be a few kids named Grant Williams now, or some casual sports fans might accidentally name their kids "Garnett Williams".
