Nice. My first two thoughts...

-Pretty clean and nice design. Looks good.
-Are they bombing the Maple Leafs?

I have a question for people familiar with Winnipeg. In national articles I have read numerous times the last month that some people feel the Jets may have trouble attracting players because its not exactly thought to be a hot destination. Have any of you ever spent time there? How is it?

My wife stayed a night on her way to Churchill and thought it was nice, but that was just a night.

let's just say it's more upscale than Brandon or Winkler.

honestly, in terms of attracting players due to geography alone, i would put it slightly above Edmonton.
I'd put it above Edm largely because it is closer to get anywhere. One good thing, is you can make league minimum and still live like a king there.

I think it was Glenn Healy who called it though "If you pick a team to play on because of the climate, you are a loser"

I wouldnt think the team would have trouble attracting players because of the area either, and have been surprised to read that some people do think so.

In a book called "Slouching Toward Fargo" a writer followed the St Paul Saints minor league baseball team and they all loved Winnipeg. They thought the women in that area were beautiful and the cost of living was so low that it was one of their few road trips where they could stay in nice hotels due to the low cost.
