Howdy Doody Johnson finally hires a GM who pulls his franchise out of the mud and has a chaanceto actually do well. Then he fires the GM and hands the reins to a guy who shit his pants in Miami.

You know why.......??? When Gase screws up, he can blame the GM and say it will take years to fix the mess.

Maybe true, but since Joe's joined the FO, the Eagles have a record of 33-19 including a Super Bowl. I realize it's a team effort, but he would be a big loss imo. And I agree with you nut he deserves a shot at a GM position.

HC takes over at GM that seems over his head at coaching alone, more less adding that. Now he is alienating his new stars he needs to build rapport with. Tbh, there were probably a lot of GMs that thought Quinnen Williams and Sam Darnold were fantastic picks. I think a lot of prognosticators are picking the Jets to finish 2nd in the AFC East, as well.

I was never a huge Sam Darnold fan but their GM already built the team so....the Jets are what they are. Firing him won't do anything helpful for next year.
