There are parallels though. In 2012 Flacco was QB1, got a title, good for him.

Nick Foles was a backup who took a good team to a title. If Flacco comes in as like QB4 and does it, that's a similar story

That's fair. I'm just noting that he is a backup really sparking his team in a pretty magical way. I agree that unlike Foles before 2017, Flacco has a ring and has shown he can get really hot before. But...Foles had 26 TDs and 2 INTs in his season under Chip Kelly. Both have a rollercoaster past.

Not to me. Nobody had ever seen Foles play as well as he did for that short stretch of games and he hasn't done it since. There was a time when Flacco was good and then lost it for whatever reason.
