Kill's had dozens of seizures and he hasn't quit yet. I'm not sure why'd he call it quits after this one. He's still a relatively young guy that has another decade until he should even think about retirement.
I'm sure they have contingencies in place to cover that scenario. If the doctors clear him to coach then he should period and anyone else's opinion really doesn't matter.What if he seizes out during a crucial point when they need to challenge a call or go for it on fourth?
Time to hang it up.
Most seizures do not cause any permanent damage and are mostly dangerous only if people don't prevent them from swallowing their tongue or hurting themselves banging their heads on nearby blunt objects.
No reason to retire over them.
needs to step down, IMO.
