The Rams coach, who got shut out 28-0 against the Niners, is now in third place on the NFL's all time list for most coaching losses. If he goes 6-10 this year, he is going to be the all-time leader. This looks very possible. He of course will also probably be fired at season's end. Go for it Jeff!

Well they've given the Rams absolute shit to work with over the last 5+ years. How you r*pe Washington in the RG3 trade and turn it into genuine crap (Aaron Donald was the Rams' original 1st) is beyond me.

"Oh hey!!! We've got NOTHING at WR, TE, OG, OT (because Greg Robinson was worth a #2 overall the fuck?! Got blasted by Rams fans on that one when I called it the dumbest top 5 pick in the last 5 years) and a mediocre secondary/linebacker crew.

BUT GOD DAMMIT! We need injury prone QB who we'll refuse to cut for a while and is more mediocre than the other injury prone QB!"

Coaches are part of the problem but ownership and GM/FO is a FAR bigger driver IMO. The Rams have been TERRIBLE at both for a long time.

The fact Fisher has gone around .500 with the Rams is mind blowing.

Jeff Fisher is #1 on my 2016 NFL Coaches Dead Pool.

His team was undisciplined and pathetic.

What's remarkable is that he has coached long enough to lose this much, without actually winning very much. The top guys are Tom Landry, Dan Reeves and now Jeff Fisher. He just passed Don Shula. Hmm.

Fisher has not had a winning season since 2008. I just looked this up. How is this man employed?

Because the Rams FO is stupid which is part of the reason why the Rams haven't done jack crap since 2003. Kroenke is not Jed York, but he did just lose to Jed York in stylistic fashion with the asshole fan running on the field displaying a better offensive play than anything the Rams put together....

You are giving Fisher too much credit. For starters, he is 10 games below .500 on the Rams and not around .500.

Secondly, he chose the Rams over Miami likely because the Rams had Bradford. He chose Snead as GM IIRC. He chose to bring in 2 bad contracts from the Titans. You also can't forget that year in and year out Fisher teams are known for being unprepared and making too many mistakes. Fisher has also made some of the most ridiculous decisions when it comes to 50+ yard Fgs and when to go for 2.

I hate Kroenke but Fisher is a bad coach. Kroenke did probably choose Goff but Wentz wouldn't save that trainwreck that played week 1.

Seems like there was some Major League crap going on there. They wanted to move for a long time and winning is the last thing you want to do if that's the case.

I would be shocked if he makes it to the end of the year. I know they have held onto him for this long but new stadium and wanting to get the fans excited about something and then you go do that week 1 with your best player getting ejected at the end of the game. Just not a good look at all and way to try and get the fans to welcome you back.

I agree here. Not just the Rams you can look at the browns and Al Davis raiders. Nothing ruins a team more than bad ownership/GM.

Jeff Fisher has become the Ultimate 7-9 Head Coach.

He could take the 2008 Detroit Lions and go 7-9.

He could also take the 2007 New England Patriots and go 7-9.

I have never understood the allure of this guy. They will probably give him a lifetime contract extension.

And yet he's managed to beat the Seahawks like 3 of the last 4 times? :noidea: :L

He does just enough here and there to keep his job, but it's going to catch up to him this year. Or at least it should. It's long overdue.
