Don't count out Foles and his passing ability. I know this offense doesn't feature Foles as much as Gurley but that TD to Britt was money and if they can, the Rams could turn Foles loose and he would deliver. What is happening is that Cook is such a predictable drive killer, their is no faith in the passing game. This is where Fisher and Snead need to step in and get Cook gone!

Not just from the TE's but better pass pro all together is needed for Foles to succeed.

I believe that will come eventually Vita, as you have often stated. It appears Havenstein, Brown, and Barnes had a pretty good game. I read the game thread comments and it appears GRob is struggling and not much was stated about Reynolds. But like you, I think our O-line will eventually get going because of Gurley's outstanding abilities and then Foles will become the QB everyone envisioned when we traded for him.

Are we one Sam Bradford start away from getting the Eagles 2nd rounder? Be a great spot to pick up one of the top TEs.

I heard Adam Schfinkter from ESPN say Bradford had to play 1/2 of the Eagles plays for the year and the Rams get a 4th rounder?

I think Schfinkter needs a refill :suds:

Its a fourth rounder SJ76. We already have the Eagles second rounder. This was all adequately explained by Vita.

So, since he is healthy now, does he only need to start or does he need to make it through to half time healthy?

I understand he needs to survive practice and with Sammy and his health, nothing is a sure thing.

O.K. apparently people are still confused by the Bradford trade. One more time. The Rams and Eagles swapped their QB's. In addition to Foles, the Rams got a fourth rounder in 2015 and a second rounder in 2016. The Eagles got our fifth in 2015 which is the last draft. We thus have the Eagles 2nd round pick in the 2016 draft already.

If Bradford plays less than half of the season schedule in this 2015-2016 season (that's less than 50%), the Eagles get the Rams fourth rounder in the 2016 draft. If he plays less than 30%, the Rams cough-up a 3rd rounder in the 2016 draft.

If Bradford plays 50% or more of the season games, we get to keep our fourth rounder in the 2016 draft that would have went to the Eagles explained above.

I think this explains it.

The actual details I'm seeing is 50% of the 'plays', so if Philly runs more offensive plays in the second half of the season then we may need 9 full games to seal the deal.

The Rams will have better luck coming out of next year's draft with Tight Ends instead of Wide Receivers but its still early in that process. All of the mock draft sites have the Rams targeting Chris Long's replacement and a Center and I think there is a possibility that the Rams might be set at DE and C moving forward.

I have a feeling Sammy is going to get hurt in practice on Friday, and screw us yet again!

No one explained it to me Zeke. I read the documents from a couple online sources which you can access via any a number of websites.

This is correct Vita. So if Bradford manages to actually stay healthy AND get those plays stipulation fulfilled by Game nine or ten, we keep our fourth rounder.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect much from Gurley this year. You just hope he can make some plays to provide some spark in this offense.
You do realize that Gurley has three straght 100 yard rushing games, don't you. Gurley is getting better "every" game, the guy's a stud!!

Most of the original posts are from after the Steelers game. The whole "3 plays 9 yards and not getting anything the defense doesn't give the Rams" went out the window with Gurley. A lot of his yards are earned after contact.

Like Dickerson and Steven Jackson, he has that powerful explosion at the point the hole opens and he is gone.

The Rams are 3-3 with wins over the Seahawks and Cards. I like the rest of their schedule. I think they can finish at 9-7 or 10-6 this year.

I don't care if it's Week 17!

As long as he plays 50 percent by then.

The sooner the better of course.

It does look like 8-11 wins for the Rams this year which would be a huge step up. I feel like they are finally a top defense with a good running game. If they ever fix the passing game then they'll be a force.
