Remarkable...IN 4TH QTR THIS YEAR WVU held opposing QBs to less than 37 percent, O TD passes & 6 int. (In fact, zero TD passes in 2nd half).

After allowing an avg of 62 red zone trips per year over the last two seasons. West Virginia has cut that number to 36 trips thru 12 games.

Past 2 seasons WVU allowed a 2-year total of 59 pass plays of 30+ yards, most in Big 12. This year WVU has sliced that to 18, 3rd in Big 12.

@TheSignalCaller Equals a 60.59 rating for opposing QBs in the 4th. Best in country. We were 99th in '13 and *yikes* 123rd in '12 (166.55!).

Well, it IS a fantastic turnaround on the defensive side but there is also something to be said about Dana NOT using this defense in game situations by going for it on 4th down at midfield and putting our defense in a position to make a big play or to set the offense up on a short field.
