Janoris already has an interception of Mathew Stafford and returned it for a total of 34 yards.

Man I wish he were a 9er.

In all fairness, AJ has only seen the field in a limited role with one target all year. Of course it is tough to get playing time when you line up incorrectly and drop your only target of the regular season leading to a punt.

Bingo, I've been with ya on Janoris from day 1. And I think the criticism of his on-field performance here has been unfounded. The dude's clearly a great talent. He & Cordy Glenn were at the top of my list (along with Stephen Hill)once Nick Perry was off the board.

The criticism of him is similar to the criticism of Patrick Peterson as a rookie. Rookie CBs are usually gonna struggle. But PP is probably the best CB in the NFL right now (his games against Crabby notwithstanding), and Janoris soon won't extremely far behind him IMO.

It was pure propaganda!!

As far as Patrick Peterson, he was my #1 rated player in 2011 followed by Green. People were making fun of him left and right and called him a "only a special teams player" that will soon transition to the safety position. Rookie cornerbarcks are going to struggle, which is why I never said one negative thing about Cully in 2011 until his sophomore campaign. It's really ashame that he (Jenkins) ended up playing against us in our division. Scary thing is, both of them (Peterson/Jenkins) will only get better at their craft.

Can we have an honest discussion about who the 49er's would rather have between Janoris Jenkins and Chris Culliver? Jenkins would do wonders for the 49ers. Tons more instinctive than Cully and our pass rush would give him more opportunities.

I don't know that I'd rather have Jenkins than Culliver, but I think they're both going to be very good CBs.

Culliver had the better season, but Jenkins was just a rookie. Look at Patrick Peterson as a rook; Peterson is soon going to be the best CB in the game (if he isn't already).

#Fact #RealTalk

I've been saying this for the longest! Had we drafted him this year, we would be set for years (him and T. Brown). Our pass rush would make him even better.

why lament Jenoris Jenkins? whether he pans out or not, whether he gets in trouble or not next season, whether he makes the Pro Bowl or not, he's not a 49er?

talking about him is ok, but to the extent it has gotten, why?
