Against the Rams? If so, it was an 11 point lead and the defense held a high powered offense TD-less for over 3 quarters and scored as many TDs that day as the Pats offense.

Regardless of that, with a ground game that came up with 25 rushes, 133 yards at 5.32 yards a pop. A QB going 16/27, 59.2%, 145 yards, 5.4 ypc, 1 TD, 86.2 QB rating isn't exactly the stuff of Super Bowl MVPism.......imho.
FYI, it was a 14 point lead. 17-3 in the 4th quarter.

Brady has MVP truck given to James White (Brady also did the same for Malcolm Butler two years ago):

Did Chevy really "stop" sponsoring the mvp like the league said?

It was White's turn.

2 games ago it was Lewis.

Last game Hogan.

This time White.

The key ingredient to all is Mr 400 plus yards Brady.....

Two years ago it was Vereen.

He sure did. For a split second it appeared that he didn't even want to slide.... Then thankfully decided against it and went down.

I was hoping he would barrel in there like a fullback. That would have been bad ass.

Did you watch the game? Or just focus on what you wanted to see? 7 of the 10 completions Brady had to get into the red zone for the tying and winning TD, went over 10 yards.

He couldn't see that well through his tears.

When the game was over, I really felt Brady was the MVP. But after seeing the condensed replay twice and not letting my mind forget about the early portions of the game, I think it should have been White. Brady was average for the first 3 quarters. By that I mean average for a NFL QB, not average for Brady.

I'm sure some will say the flip n the score, if anything, proves how valuable Brady was. But I also think White played a big role in the flip with his well-played underneath routes. It forced the defense to respect him, and when they did, Brady went to his receivers and the momentum turned. In turn, it actually helped Brady find his groove. White never had a period of the game where he struggled. I think both would have been worthy winners, but the more I think about it, the more I think White should have won.

I read somewhere this week that the nfl stopped buying the cars/trucks from Chevy.
I could be mistaken though.

I think it is/was a missed opportunity for Chevy though.
Huge deal for Ford to step up and give White an F150.

We all know White was deserving and I could've fully accepted that choice. One thing I haven't heard mentioned or maybe I missed it. Brady throws the ball to the open receiver. In the early part of the game the sure hand of Edelman and Hogan were letting Brady down. A lot of Brady's throws were on the $ and they dropped them.
Atlanta chose to defend the run and the wide outs. White ran good routes to the open areas in the zone. TB recognized this and exploited the Atlanta D. White was the player who benefitted from Atlanta's choices.

The man had a super bowl record 14 catches, 131 yards, 3 TD's and a 2 pt conversion. He had the game tying TD to send the game into overtime and the game winning TD in OT. Meanwhile Shady did his best to lose the game early with the pick six. He only had one TD that wasn't to James. So without white Brady had 0 TD's since the pick six takes cancels his other TD.

It feels like no matter how good White was or how bad Tom was, Tom was going to win the award if the Pats won.

Oh and fuck you Terry Bradshaw for Calling him James Lewis.
Just cause his name is white don't mean he better than the greatest white man to ever play.

Fuck did I really just say that?

LoL everyone knows that's Brett Favre.
