Oh I know. His footwork is horrible and that contributes to his bad throwing mechanics and accuracy. But the worst is his total lack of vision and awareness. It's like his mind is a million miles away at times.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Eagles QB Jalen Hurts is expected to start for the remainder of the season, "barring injury or disastrous play."​

Wentz has been erratic with his accuracy and questionable with his on-field decision making to an unprecedented degree this year. He leads the league with 15 interceptions and 50 sacks. Hurts has the mobility to avoid some of those drive-killing sacks and was monstrously efficient as a passer at Oklahoma. He averaged 12.2 adjusted yards per attempt in his senior season. Hurts threw 32 scores and just eight interceptions in that season. If Hurts looks good to close out the 2020 season, he should be expected to start the 2021 season under center for Philadelphia.

Going to be more disappointment for Eagles fans. OU couldn’t even run the whole offense with this guy because if his first read is covered he has no chance. Trust me this guy is not close to an NFL qb.

having a scrub that the eagles were stupid enough to extend when they didnt need to yet, just shows they wont do it twice in a row.
If & I do mean IF!? Hurts shows for more than a couple years worth of badassness. They might fall for it again. But Wentz on the team is a reason he wont get another deal until after his Rookie contract is at the very least. In his last year. Only good news for Hurts is he isnt a 1st round pick. (so no 5th year) if he turns out.

I must be the only one who is sceptical regarding Hurts’ long term success. Feel like he played an ok game (certainly better than Wentz lately with the same players) but without that one long run... Eagles likely lose this game imo.

Then again. Week to week league. I dunno. Guess time will tell.

You're not alone. He led them to a win, but IMO he didn't look all that great.

I just love that the Eagles have a $100,000,000.00 paper weight on their roster.
